The next morning, Damian was woken up by the licking of his little companion. He assumed Raven had let him in his room while he was asleep.
"Calm down," Damian sleepily mumbled as he sat up and wiped the dog saliva from his cheek.
After brushing his teeth and putting on clothes that weren't pajamas, he made his way towards the kitchen.
Garfield and Jaime were sitting at the bar, eating what looked to be waffles. "Damian, you have got to try these," Jaime spoke up when he saw Damian enter the kitchen.
"Rae makes the BEST waffles," Garfield said but it was barely audible with all the chewed up food in his mouth.
"Dude," Jaime scolded, "That's gross."
"Sorry," Garfield replied once he swallowed his food.
Damian turned his attention to the counter where he saw Raven cooking. She sensed him looking at her and turned around to meet his gaze. "Want one?"
"Uh, sure," Damian answered and took a seat at the bar beside Garfield.
It didn't take long for her to place two waffles on a plate and serve it to him. "Ignore the shape, that was originally going to be mine."
Damian looked down at the bird shaped pancake. "That's... impressive," he admitted.
Raven just shrugged her shoulders before returning to the waffle maker.
With his fork, Damian cut a piece off and dipped it in the syrup the other two boys were using. When he tasted it he was taken back. It was actually good. No, it was great.
"Great, right?" Garfield said when he saw Damian's face light up.
"Very," Damian responded before taking another bite. He couldn't see it but Raven had a pink tint to her cheeks when he made that comment.
Before anyone else could speak, the distress alarm went off.
"Titans, suit up!" Koriand'r ordered as she popped her head in the kitchen.

The Titans met Deathstroke underground.
"What the hell do you want?" Nightwing spat at the older man.
Deathstroke peered at each of the Titans, his masked eye landing on Raven. "Give me the girl," he demanded and gestures towards her.
Raven narrowed her eyes. "What?" she questioned, glancing at her teammates. They all looked on edge, except for Redbird, who just kept eyeing Deathstroke. He looked like he was planning to kill him
"Hell no!" Beast Boy objected, clenching his fists. "You can't take away any of us... ever again."
"Look," Deathstroke started, "If you don't hand her over, I'll just take her by force. I'm trying to make it easier for you."
"Well, we won't let you," Nightwing retorted, preparing for an attack. "Especially after your last incident."
Deathstroke let out a sigh and pressed a button on his glove, "I tried to warn you."
Once he did this, an army of robots came marching into the room. "Keep the girl alive, I need her," he commanded.
"Titans, go!" Starfire ordered, leading her team into battle.
While the other Titans were occupied with the robots, Redbird went straight for Deathstroke.
"Ah yes, Redbird. I've been waiting to meet you," Deathstroke said once the vigilante attempted to strike him from above. Deathstroke narrowed his eye as he grabbed Redbird's escrima stick before it landed a blow to his head, "Unless we already have..." he added in a lower voice.
