9:25: Going to an amusement park doesn't sound like a mission.
11:49: You were alone with her all night, why did you miss your chance to strike?
11:50: Is there a reason why you can't fulfill your mission?
12:36: Your grandfather is anxious, Damian. Please hurry so you may return home.
Damian read over the list of texts his mother had sent him last night. The second message freaked him out the most, considering that she had to have some sort of spy. But, this still wasn't good. If he didn't act soon not only would the League of Assassins be after Raven, but him as well.
After laying there for a few minutes Damian finally managed to get up and stretch. The only other person in the room was Jaime, who was still fast asleep.
"You seem a lot happier lately."
His attention went to the balcony door where he could hear two faint voices. Garfield and Raven were out there having a conversation. Being nosy, Damian stopped in his tracks and listened.
"Is that so bad?" Raven asked.
"No," Garfield replied. "It's just new. I'm glad you're not so depressed anymore like you used to be. It looks like Damian's brought out a new version of you."
Damian felt his heart throb in his chest at the mention of him.
"Maybe he has. I just... want to spend the rest of my life with no regrets." Raven said.
"You sound like you're going to die soon or something, Rae," Garfield responded, "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Raven assured.
With that, the conversation ended and Damian heard the sound of the balcony door about to open. He quickly rushed to the bathroom and shut the door behind him.
He gawked at his own reflection in the mirror. What an idiot. This girl was a literal demon, spawned to doom the entire human race, and he was actually feeling compassionate for her.
"Pathetic," he muttered to himself before starting to get ready for the day.

"Let's take a group picture before we leave!" Koriand'r suggested as she got out her cellphone. She had attached a selfie stick to it so they could all get in.
The group slowly got together and managed to take a few decent pictures. This pleased Koriand'r and she gathered her things so they could all get in the van and head home.
On the way home, Garfield and Jaime kept arguing about some video game. Raven had grown annoyed of this and could tell Damian was too, so she offered Damian one of her earbuds.
Damian hesitated at first but took her offer and placed the earbud in his ear. She flashed him a quick smile and turned her head to look back out of the window. Her taste in music surprised him. Most of the songs she played were slow and talking about love.
She suddenly handed him her phone. "You can pick a song if you'd like. I listen to anything."
Carefully he held her phone and eyed the songs on her playlist. After a moment of scrolling, he randomly picked one. He'd never heard of any of these before. When he handed her the phone back, he noticed a small smile on her face.
"This is my favorite," she said and met his gaze. "You have good taste."
"I honestly just picked a random one," he mentioned and averted his eyes from her.
