Drinking (As Usual)

"Jungkookah!"

Jungkook jumped awake, Jimin's face whispering two inches from his face. "Oh, Oh my God, Hyung, what time is it?"

Jimin was often this way. He woke up excited for the day and often, early.

"Morning, it is morning-time!" he said happily, "Hey it's Saturday so we have the day off, do you want to go into the studio and we can practice?" Typical Jimin, his mind groaned. First thing he can think of on our day off is working.

He wasn't sure whether he was feeling dread or excitement but he was already getting up.

They slipped out the front door unnoticed, and now they walked in step, an excited smile on Jimin's face that Jungkook couldn't help but return.

It felt good to be alone with Jimin, he thought to himself at the studio as they worked together. His laughs, all for Jungkook. His eyes, all for Jungkook. His dancing for Jungkook. Jimin was like this starlight that shone on everyone around...and Jungkook was enjoying too much when all that starlight was focused on HIM.

He started to feel like he didn't have things under control anymore. He started to feel something like desperation, and a loss of control. This orange haired Jimin could have told him to jump off a bridge and he might have done it.

All morning they danced together. They warmed up and relaxed with easier dances that they knew well and could synchronize perfectly. Jungkook loved it, relaxing into the rhythms with Jimin in the familiar steps.

"Ah, JK, you are powerful," said Jimin as they danced. Jungkook's heart quickened.

Before he knew it, it was past noon and Jungkook's stomach was rumbling. "Ah Hyung, should we have lunch? We didn't have breakfast, I am starving!!"

"Ah, is it already time?" Jimin squinted at the clock and pushed his glasses up his nose.

They had veggies and Kimchee, needing the light food so they could keep dancing in the afternoon. They sat on the floor of the practice room and Jungkook tried to keep his mouth full so he didn't say anything stupid, but Jimin's warm and bubbly voice poured over him, talking about the new dance and new album...like being bathed in sunlight, Jungkook thought happily.

Unfortunately too quickly, there was no more food left to eat, and it was the afternoon, when Jungkook had to attempt to learn this difficult dance from this orange haired Siren set to destroy him.

Jimin had him do it once for him, and Jungkook was relieved that he didn't ridicule him for his mistakes.

"Ah, okay, it's OK, JK," He got up next to him and started the song again. They coordinated well on the easier part and on the hard part, Jimin slowed the song down to one quarter speed, and had him practice just the first two steps, one beat of the song.

"Come on Hyung, really?" JK complained,... but he had to admit that slow was nice. After he could smoothly transition those two steps they added a third and fourth. For hours in the afternoon they worked like that, almost in a trance, over and over they did the quickstep. Every time Jimin slid his hand down his thigh or arm, Jungkook's heart would lurch and quicken and he would lose focus, but Jimin didn't lose patience, and they worked through every step in minute detail. Finally they lay panting on the floor.

"I think you are getting it, JK." Jimin panted, slapping him proudly on the thigh as he sat up. "Now, do you know what I want to do?"

Jungkook lay, still gasping on the floor, but he opened his eyes and looked at Jimin. "Hmm, knowing you, you want to get drunk?"
