"Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase!" Abella sings loudly with Deji using utensils as microphones. The kitchen's busy as they prepare food and snacks for this evening's Sunday family get together. "It means no worries! For the rest of your days. It's our problem-free philosophy," they drag out the notes.

Anyone in the kitchen watches in amusement. "He has a little voice on him," Toni comments sitting at the island holding Idia who chews on her hand.

Abella laughs as they go back to mixing batter for more cupcakes. "Got it from his mama if he does," she cockily smirks. They watch as Deji suddenly stops singing to walk over to the counter. He grabs a bottle of Malta with both hands chugging it down for a drink break. "Alright!" She puts her hand on the bottle because he won't even take a breath. She grabs it sitting it back on the counter. "After this only water."

"Naija boy!" Yeta says in a Nigerian accent with pride in her voice and smile.

"Do they eat Nigerian food?" Abella's cousin, Tomori, asks pouring the homemade queso Abella made into a bowl.

"They eat everything. Rice and stew, Jollof rice, Egusi soup, Amala, pepper soup, okra soup, fufu, meat pies, puff puff, goat meat–" She lists getting carried away.

"You're making me hungry," Tomori begins to eye any food in the kitchen just wanting to eat something. "I swear they know more Igbo than me too."

Abella laughs. "You used to stare clueless when anyone spoke it to you. That's sad." She points as if to say 'watch'. "Folasadé! Bịa ebe a!" She calls for Sadé to come. "Gini ka ị na eme?" She asks her what she's doing when she does. She answers fluidly understanding the question then Abella tells her how she can help them with what they're doing.

"I don't know what you just said," Mori admits making Abella chuckle.

Once they're done she puts a batch of prepared treats onto a tray mumbling the lyrics, "I'm so unbothered. Y'all be so pressed while I'm raisin' daughters. Sons of empires, y'all make me chuckle." She straightens some things up then picks up the tray heading for the back door. With more attitude she changes the lyrics, "I am Abella Lotanna Mobisson-Joshua!"
