Six years ago on this day, Abella and Anthony got married in California. A lot has happened in those years, but she wouldn't change it for the world. They've been growing everyday. To celebrate their wedding anniversary the couple is taking time away from her busy studio sessions and rehearsals, as well as Anthony's training camp to go on a date.
Abella's excited as she gets ready because their weekly date nights have been put on hold for the last couple of weeks. While doing her makeup in her walk-in closet that's also a beauty room, music plays from a speaker. Through the vanity mirror she can see Sadé sitting on the ottoman watching her.
"How do you like Kemi?" Abella asks about the new nanny she hired.
"She's nice. I like that she comes over to play everyday. She teaches us numbers and letters too. Is she coming over tomorrow?"
Abella chuckles realizing Sadé doesn't know Kemy's paid to watch them. She thinks she's a friend. The same goes for Sergio who they think is their 'uncle' as opposed to their security. The innocence of a child.
"Yeah," she mumbles concentrating to get her eyeliner even with the other eye. In the background she sees Sadé pickup a round foot stool and bring it to the vanity desk.
"Where are you going?" she asks grabbing a makeup brush pretending to put powder on her face even though nothing's on it.
"Daddy and I are going out."
"Oh, okay. You're putting on makeup to make yourself pretty," she nods. "When can I start wearing makeup to be pretty?"
"You don't need makeup to be pretty. You already are. Makeup's fun. It's a creative way to express yourself," she explains as best as possible. "How does it look so far?" she turns so Sadé can see.
"Buena!" she nods giving a thumbs up making Abella chuckle. "I'll be back. I want to show you something," Sadé gets up rushing out of the closet. Abella checks the time because Anthony told her to be ready by 5p.m. That's a little early, but she didn't question it.
