In a dressing room with busy bodies of her makeup artist, hairstylist, and stylist, they're getting Abella ready for a photoshoot with GQ. Despite the chaos in their personal life, the magazine photo shoot will include a spread, interview, and a couples quiz with both her and Anthony.
"Can someone call Kemy, so I can check on Idia?" Abella asks referring to her nanny.
"You called twenty minutes ago. 1, Miss DiDi is fine. 2, I'm sure you're getting on Kemy's everlasting nerves," her assistant chuckles.
"Was it only twenty minutes ago? I thought it was an hour," she huffs while a brush hits her eyelids to blend the eyeshadow.
Abella's gotten used to all the other kids being in school, but not so much when it comes to being away from the youngest. She's gotten into the routine of being a working artist again. The long studio hours, rehearsals, appearances, and shoots. It doesn't mean she doesn't still feel guilty about being away from her children so much.
Deep in her phone, she holds a breath anytime she clicks on Instagram thinking she's going to see a blog post about her and Anthony. Her husband paid the first half of the money for the video, but still hasn't paid the second. That leaves it up in the air for the blackmailer to do what they want.
Abella's taken out of her thoughts when her cousin and stylist, Tomori, call her name. "What about these?" She holds up a pair of heels.
"Those are nice, but with which outfit?" It prompts Mori to hold them up next to the dress getting a nod in response.
"You know Rejoice is working at Leon's club..." Tomori decides to inform Abella.
"Wait? What?"
"Yup, I saw her and she came to talk to me. She asked me to design new outfits for the bottle girls."
She looks confused, but she's not surprised. "How is she working there? She's only here visiting.. She doesn't have a visa, let alone a work visa."
"I don't know, but she deffo works there. Probably as a promoter or manager. I told her no to designing the outfits and went on my way." Abella laughs under her breath making Tomori ask, "What?"
