Chapter 33

The Uchiha brought Yuna to the closest hotel as quick as he could, not wanting her to cause another scene. Kisame was left alone in the next room as he closed the door behind them. “Yuna, never do tha-..”

He found himself at a loss for words as his lips were covered by hers. He wanted to fight off her attack on his lips, but realized this may be their last night together. With this thought in mind, Itachi willingly slipped out of his clothes, with the help of Yuna's hands.

She began to undress herself as well, but the Uchiha stopped her. She looked at him in confusion as he lead her back to the hotel bed. Though she soon understood when he began to unzip her top. Though he went at a pace much to slow, she let him.

Soft churs vibrated in her chest as he placed butterfly kisses over the newly exposed flesh. Her lips trailing down to her stomach, where she gave a sharp yelp of shock. Her tails curling around his lower back and legs.

Itachi chuckled, ridding her of all remaining fabric. He paused for a moment taking in her beautiful form for what could very well be the last time. The kyuubi blushed, but said nothing. She knew exactly what her husband was thinking.

Tears pricked at her eyes as he leaned over, capturing her lips. How could she ever expect to live without him, he was the Yang to her Yin, the Sun to her Moon. How could one survive without the other?

They were fire and Ice. Land and Sky. One could not exist without the other. How could Itachi expect anything different? Yuna was brought from her thoughts as Itachi's lips met hers. Churs rose in her throat as he nibbled on her lower lip.

“I love you so much..” he whispered, cradling her into him.

Yuna let out a blissful sigh as she rolled over onto her stomach. A furrow found its way onto her brow quickly though, as she found the spot she'd moved to was empty and cold. She had been hoping to roll onto Itachi's chest and enjoy the feel of his arms around her.

Grimacing as the reached all the way to the end of the bed, the kitsune opened her eyes. Aside from her the hotel bed was empty, and it looked like it had been that way for quite some time. She perked her ears up, thinking maybe the Uchiha had gone to shower.

Again she was disappointed. The room was silent, the bathroom was empty and there was no sign of Itachi. Had he just gone out to get them some breakfast? No, he would have taken her with.

The frown on her face only seemed to grow as she slipped from the sheets, getting to her feet. He hadn't just gone to visit Kisame, all his weapons were missing. The demon winced as she noticed all of Itachi's personal effects were missing.

Quietly, the kyuubi gathered up her own items, getting dressed as she did. Perhaps he expected her to go to Kisame and was waiting for her their? She thought hopefully. But her husband had never done that before.

Yuna threw on her akatsuki cloak, before leaving her room. She went to the first door on her right, as she remembered Kisame having gotten the room right beside them. But to her silent horror, the house keeping crew was inside, cleaning.

None of Kisame's stuff was inside either. She was beginning to feel sick to her stomach. They had left her without any clue as to where they went, not even a note saying if they would ever return.

Fighting back tears, that were starting to form, Yuna made her way to the lobby. She didn't even look at the front desk, knowing Itachi had probably put some genjutsu on them.

The kitsune pushed her way out of the crowded room, not being able to contain herself any longer. Tears streamed freely as she hid in the alley. How could they just leave her? More importantly, how could Itachi just leave her?
