A Diva's Dream (A YG Family Fanfic)

Chapter 7

It's 9am. Dear God help me. I didn't even drink last night but I feel like I have a hangover. I mean after Julien dropped me off I went into my room sat there for a second then got my bags packed, also I had to do some last minute laundry. Let's just say I only slept for two hours last night. I literally look like shit. No make up, a messy bun, sweats, high tops and a black crop top that has one sleeve that hangs off my shoulder. It's just a mess.

Once I walked into the airport I immediately see everyone with their families. It was kind of sad but also happy. Did I mention we're all going alone? Yeah, everyone's parents had to work or watch the kids but that was another argument that finally got settled.

My mom was reading my ticket and passport when her phone went off.

Mom - " Hello? Oh mija! Yeah? She's right here want to talk to her? "

My mom nods her head then looks at me and tells me it's my older sister. My older sister is named Cassie. She lives in NY and goes to NYU to study photography and I haven't seen her since summer. My mom nods then hands me the phone.

Me - " Hey. "

Cassie - " Hey booger. Are you excited? "

Me - " Yeah. I guess but I think I need mom still. "

Cassie - " I feel ya. That's the same thing I said when I came over here. Don't worry it's only two months for you, me on the other hand, I still have couple of more months til graduation. "

Me - " Sucks to suck. "

I miss my big sister. She helped me through a lot besides my grandma. Since our dad left when my mom was pregnant with our younger, my mom had really hard time with everything. Cassie ened up getting two jobs when she turned sixteen just to help out: one at a movie theater and second as a photographer for World of Dance. Because of that she got lucky and earned a scholarship to NYU.

Cassie and I kept talking up until we got to the gate and I heard that my flight was ready to board.

Me - " Hey sis I gotta go now. I'll FaceTime you when I get there kay? "

Cassie - " Kay kid. You be careful and behave yourself.  I don't want to hear that you're being sent back. Love you Milia. "

Me - " Love you too Cassandra. "

I hung up with her. Damn. I'm ready to cry now. I saw everyone give their families give one last hug and kiss, I sighed, guess it's my turn. When I turned around to look at my family they were already crying. Then it hit me.

Me - " Aw you guys. "

We all huddled together like penguins and could not stop crying. I pulled out and looked at everyone.

Grandma - " I love you mija. You do good and show em' who you are. "

Me - " I will grandma. Love you. "

Rae - " You can do it! I'll be watching. Love you sis. "

Me - " Love ya kid. "

When I saw my mom she was out of it. She was red eyed and whatnot. This woman who has been a rock to me is finally breaking down. Well actually, last time she was like this was when my sister was leaving.

Mom - " Why are my kids leaving me? "

Me - " It's only for two months mom. I'll be back in a blink of an eye. "

I gave her the biggest, most loving bear hug ever. I can't believe this it. We stayed like that until we heard people calling for me.

Mom - " You better go mamas. I love you, take care of yourself. And FaceTime me once you're at your hotel okay? "

Me - " Okay. I love you mom. "

We let go of each other and I make my way over to the group. For the next two months I'm on my own. I pray that everything will be okay.

Right as the man takes my ticket, I hear someone screaming and calling for me. I turn around to see my little sister running towards me.

Me - " Raeleen what the hell kid? "

Rae - " Here. "

She hands me a bracelet. It's made of plastic but it has ballerina slippers and the American flag and other things. Then it hit me. I remember this bracelet.  My uncle Damien gave this to me when I was little. Then I gave it to Rae when she started kindergarten and that was three years ago.

Me - " Why are you giving this to me? It's your's. "

Rae - " Do you remember what you told me when you gave this to me? "

I do remember. I told her No matter what happens, never be afraid of anyone or anything. Just remember who you are. I only added the ballerina slippers because Rae takes ballet.

Me - " Yeah. "

Rae - " Take it. Remember who you are okay? "

Me - " I will. "

She then turned around and went back to mom. I looked at them all and waved at them one last time.

We get on the plan and they said that we were in first class. Hell yeah! So we make our way to our seats. I got a window seat and next to me is Heather then Ruben. I saw Julien was behind Heather and I can tell he wanted to switch seats. I guess he asked Heather cause she got up and left, then came Julien.

Me - " Ehh wrong seat my friend. "

He looked at me then smirked and said, " Shut up. " Then kissed me.

Ruben - " Gross I don't want to sit here if they're gonna be making out the whole time. "

Dylan - " Too bad. Not sad. "

We all laughed and rolled our eyes. It was gonna be a long flight.
