A Few Years Later

A Mandalorian against one too many people wouldn't be such big of a problem in normal circumstances. Yet nothing has been normal, not ever since Din got separated of Fennec and the others. He ended up on a strange planet and he thought, with no ship or weapons, the best place to start was the cantina.

No past choice of his could compare to how badly his judgement failed him this time. Apparently, the town was now fond of Mandalorians and due to their hatred, they were especially hostile, violent and dangerous to his kind.

Weapons were certainly useless against Beskar, but these people were very good at spotting weaknesses in armours.

The bar fight was in the middle of its turmoil and Din Djarin was caught up with some tentacle around his neck when the doors of the cantina opened and the light from the outside momentarily stopped everyone.

"Get lost, lady," someone shouted. "We're closed."

"Now," the woman grinned and walked in either way. She stepped over the people that Din has killed in order to survive and he could finally glance at that fiery red hair of hers. "This doesn't seem closed to me. Has the Mandalorian failed to pay or are you just this famous on hospitality?"

"You don't wanna be part of this...," Din hoarsely breathed out. She only glanced at him, then rolled her eyes, addressing the remaining twenty people.

"I have business with the Mandalorian and I have travelled a long way for this. I advice you to release him and let him come with me, or you will suffer the consequences." She kept a straight posture and a calm voice, but something about her grin told Din that she was actually looking forward for them to refuse her kindness.

Which they did.

"As if a little girl like yourself can stop us in our own town," someone scoffed, while a much bolder person aimed their blaster at her.

Din watched as the fight started up again once the lady dodged their attack without even looking. She was fast and graceful and Din couldn't help but look in awe, unable to remember where he has seen such a fighting style before. It felt familiar.

The redhead lady wore clean robes and she intended to keep them clean and nest. In her mess of red curls, a small green ornament of metal kept that hair out of her way. She had a small scar on her face too, but somehow, it wasn't that visible.

She knocked out about half the people there when she noticed Din was being violently strangled by the tentacle being. Then, she extended her hand and the very similar power that Grogu had made the thing release the Mandalorian.

Angrily, that being turned to her and then, the woman took a silver and black handle from her belt. She opened her palm and the hilt floated barely above it. As she closed her fist, that thing flew across the room at incredible speed, kicking in the head most of the people still standing.

Once it returned to her hand, and she grabbed it tight, a purple light extended from it and everyone else dropped their weapons. "Y-you're a jedi."

"Y-yes," she mocked back and motioned them with her head to leave the cantina. The woman didn't switch off her lightsaber until they were gone and even then, she waited to walk over behind the bar and pour one drink before speaking again.

"Name's Lorna Skywalker. Nice to finally meet you, Din Djarin," she gave him a quick wink and downed her drink.

"Skywalker?" Everything finally clicked for Din in his mind and he remembered the Jedi that took Grogu for training. "You're Luke's..."

"Wife," Lorna answered his confusion, watching as the Mandalorian didn't dare approach. "I take Luke made a nice impression."

"The impression that I wouldn't like pissing him off."

She laughed. There was something about a Mandalorian's seriousness that she just couldn't help but find amusing just then.

"You said you have business with me?"

"Ah, no," Lorna shook her head. "Definitely no. Your kid sensed you might need some help getting back to your friends and I was up for a little trip. He misses you by the way, so you should start monthly visits at least. Grogu is a wonderful student and he's acing his trainings, but you know..."

"You talk a lot for a Jedi," Din pointed out, though behind his helmet, he was smiling. Not only was he happy that his kid was in good hands, but he was also grateful to hear he can come visit sooner.

"It's my specialty," Lorna rolled her eyes and walked around the bar again. "That and annoying people. How did I do so far?"

"Acing it, ma'am," the Mandalorian nodded. He smiled. There was somethint about being around Jedi lately, like Lorna, like Luke... they gave him just a bit more hope.
