A/N

Giant filler chapter...

Stevie had gone so completely overboard but she didn't care. As far as she was concerned those were her babies so she bought things as if she was the one pregnant and about to have them. Lindsey and Stevie were up hours into the night, even calling in Christopher to help, putting together two separate nurseries but Stevie spared no expense.

Cordelia's nursery had white walls because they didn't have time to paint it. She had an espresso-colored convertible crib because she talked to the lady at the store and she said that the best thing for a two-year-old would be a crib that could turn into a bed. On the bottom of the crib were two drawers. In one of them, she placed the extra crib sheets she had gotten. A pair of plain pink, plain teal, and white with pink roses on it.  And in the other, she put a few plush blankets. A gray one with pink hearts on it, a white faux fur blanket, a white plush blanket with pink roses on it. And a purple and pinks striped blanket. She had placed a pink hamper in the corner of the room and she had washed all of the baby clothes she bought.

The crib sheets that were currently in the crib were white with orange, teal, and pink owls on. Over the side of the crib was the quilt that Stevie was planning on using as a comforter for Cordelia because the lady at the store said as long as the baby was older than one they could put blankets and toys in with them, so once Cordelia was laying in the bed they'd drape the quilt over her. The quilt had a teal border with orange and pink flowers on it. The middle was white with a tree and three owls, a teal one, an orange, and a pink owl.

The closet was on the far wall and across from the crib was a five-drawer dresser. In the top drawer, Stevie placed her white tanktop undershirts, her underwear, tights, and socks. The second drawer was for her Jammies and Stevie had bought her about ten pairs. The third drawer was plain teeshirts the fourth drawer was her plain colored leggings. The fifth drawer was outfits that Stevie strategically placed. The two piles on the left were long sleeve the two on the right were short sleeve and she folded the little outfits together in the drawers. On top of the dresser, she had sat a grey stuffed dog and a pink fabric basket where she had put a little hairbrush and some barrettes, hair ties, bows, and headbands. Above the dresser was a pink circular mirror.

In the closet, Stevie had hung up on little pink hangers, four pairs of jeans, fourteen dresses, five skirts, and six cardigans. Also hanging up was a jean jacket, a pink peacoat, and a purple bubble heavier jacket.  There was also a little pink over the door hanger where she put the shoes she had bought Cordelia.

There was an espresso bookshelf in a corner with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Paper Bag Princess, Sesame Street Dictionary, Encore for Eleanor, If you give a mouse a cookie, can't you sleep little bear, The Berenstein Bears Books, Curious George, The Little Miss books, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you feel. On the bookshelf, after she strategically placed the books, she put a bunny stuffed animal on the shelf, Next to the bookshelf was a brown armchair where a penguin stuffed animal was sat. There was also a brown wastebasket.

In the middle of the floor was a white faux fur rug and off to the side, there was another pink fabric basket where Stevie had put some toys. A stacking tower, Animal block puzzle, wooden blocks, a pull puppy, some finger puppets, and a little plush dolly with blonde curls wearing a blue dress.

There were pink blackout curtains on the windows. A plug-in owl night light, and a white lamp with a white shade that had pink owls on it on top of the bookshelf.

In Misty's nursery, all the furniture was the same, it was literally the same crib, dresser, chair, but there wasn't a bookshelf and they were a different color. Misty's furniture was black. They didn't buy a changing table, they just bought a couple of changing pads, one of them going in the chic black diaper beg that she bought. They also invested in a black rocking cradle for Stevie's bedroom because the lady said babies couldn't sleep in a crib until they were about six months old.

Misty's crib sheet set was butterflies compared to Cordelia's owls. The sheets were white with purple and pink butterflies on them, along with some gray clouds. The quilt for this crib had a pink border, a white middle, and purple and pink butterflies in the middle of it. Just like in Cordelia's room, one drawer had the extra crib sheets, a plain purple pair, white with purple flowers, and pink sheets. The other drawer had three different sections of blankets. The first pile was plush blankets, they had a plain purple one, a pink one with red roses on it, a gray and white polka-dotted one, and a grey blanket with a hedgehog on it. Then the middle pile was swaddlers and the file pile was muslin blankets.

The dresser was set up very similar to Cordelia's in the sense that the top drawer had tights, socks, and bibs. The second drawer was her sleepers. The third drawer was her plain onesies organized in piles like Cordelia's one pile for long sleeves, one for the short sleeves but then the other half was jeans and leggings. The fourth and fifth drawers were her little outfits that Stevie laid out much like she did Cordelia's. And she had bought about twelve.

In the closet, she had dresses, skirts, and sweaters hung up like her bigger sister and she had her own purple over the door hanger. The ones that they bought for the girls had three baskets. Because Misty's shoes weren't as big as Cordelia's the bottom basket held all of her shoes, the middle basket held some receiving blankets and burp cloths, and the top had extra diapers and a pack of pacifiers.

On top of the dresser Stevie had set aside two purple fabric baskets, the first was hair stuff, the second had baby toys. Because Misty was so little she'd not get to play with them for a while but they were there. The toys they had bought were a couple of teething rings, a few rattles, a spiral activity toy, and an elephant jittery toy. There was also a security blanket, one of those small square blankets with a hedgehog head on top and it dripped down into a grey plush piece of cloth with white arrows on it.

In the middle of Misty's floor was a purple fuzzy carpet where Stevie had placed the second changing pad and a purple basket of diapers and diaper cream and wipes. There was also a black wastebasket and a light purple hamper with dark purple butterflies on it. Each of the girls had baby monitors in their room, and though both bases were in Stevie's bedroom when everything was said and done, Cordelia's would be going to the guest room that Lindsey was staying in.

The bathroom that the girls would be sharing, as it was right between their respective rooms had its own makeover. The way it was laid out, left the wall under the window bare so they put a little shelf up. The bottom shelf had a little baby bath sat on it, and the top shelf had baby washcloths on it on one half and the second half had a wicker basket in it with baby Tylenol, a thermometer, and there were two hooded towels. The pink elephant one wouldn't fit Misty for a while, but the pink owl one would definitely fit Cordelia now. And on top of the shelf, there were two more wicker baskets. The first held baby shampoo, body wash, lotion, and bubbles in it, and the other wicker basket had bath toys in it. There was a rubber ducky, squishy toys, and floatie toys.  They had also put a pink toddler potty in the bathroom as well. In Stevie's bedroom, right next to her vanity she had set up a makeup station for Cordelia, and laying on the chair in her room there was a moby wrap for carrying Misty around

Downstairs in the living room, the room with the TV in her house, Stevie had placed a brown basket with a few more toys for Cordelia, some farming block puzzles, more wooden blocks, an alphabet puzzle, and a clock puzzle. That was where she decided to put the baby swing they had bought for Misty.  In the family room where there was no television,  right next to Lindsey's guitar she had placed a toy guitar and another brown basket with a ladybug memory game in it, some foam blocks, and a few more plush dollies. Then she had also set up, an art easel where she had only washable markers in case they ended up on her walls and she had set up an activity table. that had crayons and papers and play dough. That was where she set up the little play gym thing for Misty and the pack n play.  In the Rotunda, Stevie had set a little toddler piano next to her grand.

In the kitchen, Stevie had situated a little booster seat at not only the dining room table but the kitchen table. She had a bottle drying rack by the sink and a tub of formula. She had rearranged her cupboards completely leaving one open for sippy cups, bottles, toddler bowls, and plates and she set a spot up in her silverware drawer for the little plastic spoons. She had stockpiled with healthy snacks, milk, fruit, vegetables, proteins, meat, and toddler snacks, like cheerios. She had apple juice and special baby water. They also put another little toddler potty in the bathroom downstairs.

She was ready to get her baby's home.
