April 12, 1990

Stevie was sitting in the chair with Cordelia in her nursery just rocking back and forth with her. Lindsey was playing Stephanie on the guitar and the little girl was falling asleep against her chest.

"What song that?"

"That was a song called Stephanie." Lindsey smiles standing up slinging his guitar over his shoulder and moving it to his back.

"Tevie?" Cordelia points. Lindsey tends to call her Stephanie when they have to go somewhere and she's not moving fast enough and Cordelia's picked up on it slightly but she can't say Stephanie so she keeps calling her Stevie.

"Yes baby, my real name is Stephanie...just like how daddy and I call you Delia, but your real name is Cordelia." Stevie kisses her head.

"Alright Bug, let's get you in bed." Lindsey takes her into his arms and squeezes her tightly.

"Oh, I love you so much." He smiles kissing her head as he tucks her in.

"Love Daddy." She grins and Stevie and Lindsey stop and look at each other.

"I love you too Sunflower." Stevie coos after a moment bending down and kissing her forehead as well.

"Love momma." And Stevie's heart swelled as soon as they turned her night light on and cracked her door a jar Stevie started to cry.

"She called me Mom, Lindsey."

"Yeah, she did Angel." Lindsey kisses her head.

"She called me mom." She repeats.

"Come on let's go celebrate in the other room so you don't keep her awake." Lindsey laughs pulling her to the master where he had taken residence up after Cordelia was sick at the end of March.

"She." Stevie kissed him, "called," kissed him, "Us," Kissed him, "Mom and," kissed him "Dad."

And after that final Kiss, Lindsey starts lifting her teeshirt up and for the first time in about four years, they made love despite Misty sleeping soundly in the cradle next to their bed.

The next afternoon, Stevie chuckled as Lindsey came down the stairs with Cordelia who was dressed in one of his old Rolling Stones Teeshirts.

"What so funny Momma?" Cordelia questions and Stevie, still being new to the term, has to shake the surprised feeling off.

"You're not funny, you're cute wearing daddy's shirt. It's a dress on you." Stevie laughs.

They were spending the afternoon painting eggs for the Easter Bunny to come on Saturday Night. Much like Valentine's day, it was their second at-home visit, and Stevie was scared shitless but she was trying to keep it together for Cordelia. Lindsey had her sitting on top of the kitchen table his hands firmly on her hips and he was helping her with the eggs. Stevie had Misty in the moby wrap, sleeping when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." She kisses Cordelia's head and Lindsey before she makes her way to the front of the house.

"Well hello, Mrs. Buckingham."

"Hey, Marge..." Stevie smiles.

"Oh, I love your dress." She points. Stevie's wearing a white dress with what looks like watercolor paint streaks at the bottom and she's paired it with a light blue sweater to match one of the streaks on the bottom.

"Thank you," She smiles moving a bit of the moby wrap to show Marge the sleeping Misty. "We're kinda matching today...you can't see it in here but she's got on a white onesie with feathers on it in the same colors as the bottom of my skirt and, and she's got light blue pants on."
