"Get back here, pretty boy!" I rushed over to him, grabbing his arm, only because he didn't have sleeves, "What, Dawn?" I scoffed, "You can't act like I'm the bad guy here! You stole my music, just like Bobby stole yours!"

"I-I did it for a good reason!" I scoffed again at his words, "Your reason is that you wanted my songs to get out to the world?" he nodded, "Luke, Bobby could have had the same intentions!"

He crossed his arms, "But he never mentioned us!" "and you mentioned me?" I questioned sarcastically before I could say anything else, Alex came overseeing us all tense.

"Ready to go home?" I nodded, pushing past Luke, grabbing Reggie's hand, poofing into the studio.

----

"Wanna go check-in on Julie?" I nodded at Reggie before poofing into Julie's living room, "Are we just gonna sit here?" he nodded grabbing me by my hips, pulling me down into his lap on this small chair.

I heard someone's voice getting closer, "You can't hide forever, ghosties!" I laughed seeing Carlos coming into the room. His little iPad started going off, "GOTCHA!" He yelled.

Tia came walking in, "For the last time, mijo. Ghosts are not real," Luke and Alex poofed in behind us, "Typical adults," I whipped my head looking at Reggie, waiting for the next thing he was going to say.

"Remember when we were kids, and they never believed what we said?" I giggled at Reg, "Yeah. I'm pretty sure that's just a "you" thing," I scoffed at Alex, glaring at him, causing him to put his hands up in defense.

Luke joined in, "I was always pretty trustworthy, but shouldn't we be more worried about Julie?" He made this dramatic pause, fuck Luke, seriously, "Her dad just busted her, ok?" He's probably making her quit the band," I scoffed, crossing my arms.

I walked over sitting next to Luke, whispering into his ear, "Can you stop worrying about Julie, it's like it's all you care about nowadays," he huffed looking at me, whispering back, "Sorry, seems like you're busy putting people down lately," I shoved his crossed arms.

Luke and I were too busy glaring at each other, while Reggie was trying to convince Tia ghosts were real for Carlos.

"It's not that I'm putting people down, I'm telling the truth," he closed his eyes and took a deep, deep breath.

"So, You are putting Julie down because "it's the truth?" "Luke, I am telling the truth, she acts like she is the only one that has gone through things. Don't tell me you are on her side after she treated you like crap?" He nodded, looking away, while I poofed out into the studio.

**LUKE'S POV**

I felt the seat rise a little, looking over to see Dawn gone. I mentally slapped myself for being a jerk.

I looked over seeing Reggie grabbing a white blanket, "Time for an old classic," Alex and I kept glaring at each other, thinking of Reggie's stupid actions.

Carlos got pulled away by his Tia, leaving Alex and me death staring Reggie down.

"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Reggie sat back in the chair, smirking, "Yeah, I do. I've defended every kid who's never been believed. Some might say I'm a superhero." He stopped looking over at us, his smile falling, "Where's Dawn? But maybe we should get out of here before Julie finds out, huh?" Reggie got up running out of the room.

I crossed my arms, looking over to Alex, both of us with an angry look, huffing before getting up, running the way Reggie ran.
---

We got to the front of the studio, "Luke, dude, what did you do to Dawn?" Reggie said, hitting me on the shoulder, "You think I did something?"

I crossed my arms, while Alex chimed in, "Luke, you took her music, which she trusted you with, and we could hear what you guys whispered about, all you have been doing is caring about Julie. When was the last time you had a conversation, without yelling, just the two of you?"

"I- I don't keep track of those things, " Alex hit my head, "You fought the last time you talked, last time you were with me before I continue on you didn't tell Julie Dawn wrote "finally free" Jesus, Luke, what the fuck is wrong with you!"

I scoffed, "I-I just don't have enough time for her, " before I could keep talking, Reggie stepped in, "You need to talk to her, apologize for singing her song AND acting like Bobby."

"Guys, stop saying I was acting like Bobby, I was just trying to help!" Alex patted my shoulder, "She was telling the truth about Julie by the way, Just, please go apologize, and stop denying stuff you don't wanna hear, it's not helping you."

I mean, everything they were saying made sense, but I just didn't want to believe it. I wanted to think I was in the clear. I wanted to think everything in my ghost life is perfect. I wanted to believe I had everything.

After a little more convincing, the boys finally got me to go in, "Dawn, can we talk?" she stood up off the couch quickly, taking me in on a hug, "Luke, I am so sorry, I should have never, " I couldn't understand anything else she started to say, it was all muffled filled in with sniffles.

"Dawn, don't cry, I was being a jerk, I shouldn't have stolen your music, a-and, " she hugged me tighter being a signal to stop talking, "Luke, I-its just you haven't hung out with me like we used to. We used to go to parks and just write music for fun, songs that no one would ever see, a-and why now?"

She asked, making me furrow my eyebrows, "and why what now?" I said with my chin on the top of her head, she inhaled slowly, "Why are you pushing me to get my music out there now? Why couldn't you have convinced earlier, like when we were alive?" I felt her tears roll down my bicep.

"Dawn, I just wanted to put you out there, I truly was trying to help, " she looked up, chin on my chest, "It felt like torture watching you guys play that song, you knew that one always had to stay private, " I nodded, looking down at her.

"A-and I'm sorry, I-I wish I could go back and ask you, " she nodded hugging me again. I laid my chin back down on her head, kissing the crown of it, "Sis, thank you for everything, I have never actually thanked you, I mean we barely hung out, but when we did, we clicked, " I felt her smile into my shoulder.

"Lukie?" I nodded, "How do I fix things with Reggie? I-I mean I've hurt him enough, and I am trying to not get as mad tempered, but if you couldn't tell, it's not working, " I laughed onto her head.

"Just give him attention, and be there for him, " she patted my back, stepping away from me a little.

"Luke, we should hang out again, just us two, we haven't connected, or wrote our secret songs, " I nodded, laughing with her.

"Shit." she looked at me in the eye, "what?" I pushed past her to get to my journal, "We are supposed to use "Edge of great" tomorrow!"

She rushed to my side, "Dude, calm down, you can use that, just give me credit?" she asked in a question while I nodded, "of course."

"Well, wanna go to your old room?" I looked down at the journal in my hands, still crouched to the ground with her, "Oh! No, no, we don't have to, I understand completely."

"We can go, just cover my eyes when we poof in, I don't wanna see my parents right now, I don't feel like crying." She nodded, "Luke, that's fine, I just love your old room, it helped me write, " I chuckled at her comment.

I held my hand out, "Ready, my lady, " she smirked, grabbing my hand before poofing out.
