Warnings: language and unfinished business 😎
---

"Willie?" Willie nodded walking closer to us, "you guys are in serious trouble. We need to talk."

We walked for hours upon hours, Willie trying to get us to understand everything that is happening to us. "All these jolts that we're feeling is because Caleb put his stamp on us?" Willie nodded moving his hands around.

I hit Alex on the chest, "I told you one day you were gonna kill me!" He grinned nervously, "He's threatened by you. He wants you under his control." He paused, looking everywhere but us.

His face started getting flustered, bouncing a little, "You're the only ghost that can be visible to lifers without his help." He exhaled worriedly.

"A-And you let him do this to us?" Alex's voice was shaking, "I can't stop him!" I flinched at his sudden outburst, "H-he owns my soul. All right? He owns everybody's soul at that club."

I moved into Reggie's side, pulling Luke into my other side. Was I scared? Yes, I was terrified.

"If he knew I was here talking to you, he..." he signed out loudly, making eye contact with me, "he would destroy me." He looked down, trying to fix his shirt.

"So if we don't join his club," I started going, but couldn't finish, letting Luke step in, "the weird power outage thing continues until there's no power left at all?"

Willie nodded, mumbling out a "yes," Reggie shook his head, kissing the side of my head, "What exactly happens when the power goes out?" Luke looked down at me with these puppy eyes, he was scared, and I couldn't do anything about it.

"That's... that's it." He looked over at me, seeing the tears filling up in my eyes, "You're done."

I gulped, tucking my head into Reggie's shoulder, "Uh-huh. Yeah. And what exactly do you mean by "we're done"?"

Luke started rubbing his hands together, "You just... you don't exist... anymore. Not anywhere." I felt warm tears fall onto Reggie's leather jacket.

"What? So we have no choice?" Luke let out aggressively, "We have to say goodbye to Julie," Luke let out on the verge of tears.

"Give up everything we've built together, and work for Caleb?" We all signed I started messing with the hem of Reggie's jacket.

Reggie rolled his eyes, "That's some club you got going on." I nodded, sniffling, I felt Reggie whisper into my ear, "We aren't going anywhere, we will always have each other, don't worry, please don't worry." He kissed the crown of my head.

"B-but there's another option. T-That's why I'm here." I lifted my head, all of us letting out, "Another option?" We stood there for what felt like hours, maybe even years before he answered.

"Just please hear me out." We signed letting him speak, "All right. If you guys could figure out what your unfinished business is, you do it in time, you could cross over and be free from all of this."

I looked at him confused, looking over at Reggie seeing him shocked. I mentally scoffed, what? Is Willie crazy?

Alex finally spoke up after a while, "ok. So what's our unfinished business?" Willie snapped his look over at Alex, shrugging, "I don't know, but since you all died at the same time, it might be something you need to do together." I scoffed thinking of all the lies he had told us.

Alex pointed at Willie, "Why should we listen to a word you say?" Willie shook his head, "Because I care about you, Alex." Willie had a small twinkle in his eye.

"A-and I hate that I brought you. And your friends into this mess." He stopped looking around at his surroundings, "I, uh. I can't be away much longer. I'm so sorry," I rolled my eyes, I'm sure he is.

"For everything," I rolled my eyes again, air quoting in my mind "everything," yeah right.

"This is all my fault." I shook my head at Alex's words, "I- I met Willie, Willie introduced us to Caleb, and now..." his eyes wandered at random things.

"Now we're screwed." Reggie paused him, "We all wanted to go see Caleb," I shook my head, putting my hands up, "I sure didn't!" Alex nodded looking down.

Luke broke the silence, "We have to tell Julie." I shook my head, fidgeting with my fingers, "No, we can't do that. This just means more loss in her life."

I nodded at Luke, Alex stopped him, "But if we don't want Caleb to own our souls, w-we have to figure out our unfinished business."

At this point, I didn't know whose side to be on, "Yeah, man. And how are we supposed to do that? All right?" I nodded knowingly.

"There was so much we wanted to do," I nodded remembering the time at the Orpheum, "What is it?" Reggie questioned.

"But the night we died, there was one thing we all," I glared at him, "Most of us, wanted to do together," Luke took a step forward, making all of us repeat his actions.

"Play the Orpheum?" Reggie said, coming out more so a question. Alex scoffed, "getting that gig was literally impossible," I nodded, remembering.

"Even after people knew who we were, we had to hustle, call in every favor we had." I pictured all of this helping them.

"It took us years," Luke repeated himself, we then all felt a shock, we all jumped back in pain, me flying further backward, "Oh." We all tried to straighten our legs out.

"We don't have years." I nodded, holding into Reggie's side, Wait. What's my unfinished business? Fuck.
