A/n: I hate writing the past three chapters, mainly because I think y'all don't like the book and because I hate the fighting. 🥺 anyways hope y'all are doing well

"Dawn, seriously? I heard what you said about our relationship earlier, I know you are trying to end it! Maybe it's because that boy at the cafe, " he said, rolling his eyes, "End it? And you heard me say that it was complicated?" he nodded, crossing his arms.

"And the boy? That boy is Willie, " he shot up confused, "Willie, Willie?" I shook my head, "Yes, but he doesn't remember us, he doesn't remember anything!" he looked at me with puppy eyes, "I'm sorry for assuming that, babe."

I nodded, "I said complicated because I thought you were gonna be mad at me, I thought you were gonna end it for how I was acting!" he got wide-eyed, "I would never!"

I scoffed, "Yeah, right!" I said with attitude, "Really, Dawn? YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME? WHAT THE HELL!" I shook my head, "SEEMS LIKE YOU WANTED TO GET WITH THOSE CHEERLEADERS!" he shot his head, towards me.

"AFTER EVERYTHING WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH WITH EACH OTHER? I HAVE SEEN ALL OF YOU DAWN! PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY! I JUST WASN'T THINKING OF YOU WHEN I TALKED ABOUT THE CHEERLEADERS!" I scoffed, standing up, heading towards the door, all I could think about how we were turning into our parents.

*REGGIE'S POV*

I couldn't stop thinking of how I was turning into my parents, and how we both were acting like them.

I stood up, running towards her, "Dawn, WAIT!" I grabbed her arm, "I don't want you to walk out of my life, like everyone else, I don't want to lose you, I- I- It meant nothing when I was talking to those cheerleaders! Especially since they can't see me!" I pulled her around, facing me.

All I saw were tears falling from her face, "Since they can't see you? So if they could, you would go with them? WHAT'S THAT GONNA CHANGE, REG?" I flinched at her yelling.

More tears falling from her face, "I thought you liked me Reg! Why are you doing this NOW!? Why are you doing this, tell me!? Keeping secrets, flirting, and not caring!" I tried grabbing her hand, but she pulled away.

"Baby, please!" she scoffed, "Then tell me everything! And tell me why we're are turning into our parents!" I saw her coming in to grab onto me, right before I knew it, my chest had her head resting on it, and my shirt soaked in tears.

"I don't wanna fight with you! I just wanna know why, Reggie!" I nodded, "Can we take a breather?" She nodded into my chest.

I hugged her back, squeezing her, "Couch?" all I heard was a muffled 'yea'.

I tapped on her back thigh, making her jump, crossing her legs around my waist, "We will talk about it soon, Baby, soon, " I said kissing her head.

The whole time I was holding her, she smelt like heaven, even after we died, "Reg? Can you tell me why now?" I nodded, sitting up.

"I- I was just happy when I flirted with Ro-" "Reg, I don't care about Rose, tell me why the cheerleaders, right after we talked about not flirting with others?" He nodded.

"I- I just- I- it was in the moment, I wasn't focusing, and to be truthful, all I could think about was you!" she placed her hand on my chest, "Reg, I wanna believe you, but I can't!" I looked down at her fidgeting hand.

"Maybe it's best we take a break until you can find a reason?" I was hesitant about what she said but still said it, "NO! BABY, NO! I can't even try to imagine being without you!" she frowned.

"Maybe it's for the best Regg-" "I'll prove it to you, just give me some time, please, babes!" she nodded, "I don't want to lose you either, but I don't want to get cheated on Reg, " I looked her straight in the eye, "y- you think I would cheat on you?"

She shook her head, tears forming in my eyes, "N-no I- I- that's not what I mean! I meant I don't want you to flirt with a prettier girl, and like accidentally kissing her, I- I- I don't even know what I meant by that, but I know you would never cheat bubs, " she cuffed my face, kissing me, but it felt weaker than usual, "I love you bubs, I'll see you soon, " she kissed my nose, "Bye, Baby."

Before I knew it, she poofed out, I just wanted to scream, but Alex and Luke came back in.

Alex started pacing, while Luke and I watched him.
