"See what I've been saying about scaring her off, that's part of it, right there. What you're doing is going to do just that. Don't look at her."
Ken pulled his eyes away from her and turned away from her, facing his friends as she crossed the street coming directly their way.
"Y'all don't stare."
He whispered because he couldn't tell if she had crossed already or had already walked by.
He peeked behind him and he didn't see her.
"Okay, I'm going in the store. Give me 10 minutes."
Ken told his friends as they too had turned around and so they all turned back around to find him before he spoke.
The guys stood outside waiting.
"Uh, hey y'all. Did y'all see where she went when she crossed the street?"
Joe asked
"No, we turned around when YB said not to stare."
"Why?"
10 asked further.
"Because she's in there and she's in line behind Top."
Joe explained as he pointed.
10 peered into the door of the store where he saw people in line and saw his friend and her standing right behind him.
10 slid his phone out of his pocket.
He shook his head as he heard the phone ringing.
