When I finally reached them, I caught hold onto a sleeve hoping that they would understand that I am completely petrified, even though this is exactly what I wanted to happen just me and her but now that it is my lungs are collapsing under the weight of having to actually talk to her in such a close proximity and ALONE?, I think I need some more of her water.

I expressed as much as I tried to reiterate my fears to my brothers,

"No, please y'all let's not do that. Joe stop, man."

Joe didn't even glance his way.

"10, stop. Don't do this man, please. I'm begging you." I said as I grabbed 10's shirt before he could walk away.

"Dude, we're helping you out. That's your girl, right?"

I nodded.

"Okay, then eventually y'all are going to go on dates by yourselves alone. You are going to have to get over this nervous thing. Just be calm and rejoice in the fact that you rode with her here she's a fun company to have and now y'all are going to spend most of the trip together. So get comfortable, nigga." 10 said as he prys his shirt out of my grasp.

"We told you we would get y'all together and look y'all are together on this trip. This is y'all foundation. Enjoy it." 10 said as Joe and Three agreed.

"10, 10, TEN!!!!" I yelled but they kept walking.

"SEE YOU AT LUNCH!!!!" He heard 10 yells in the distance as he sat at the game waiting on Portia to come out of the bathroom.

She came out and sat next to him as the worker prepared the game for them and the other people sitting there waiting, too.

"We're gonna have so much fun."

I said as got comfortable around her, finally realizing how lucky I am to finally have her in my presence.

They held their game controllers, Ken telling her that the royal blue teddy bear was coming home with her, as the game started he felt a tap on his chest.

He glanced her way seeing her other hand over her heart and she tapped his chest right over his heart with her other outstretched hand in unison with hers as she said

"I'll make sure of it."
