They approached us.
"Hey, y'all we're ready if y'all are."
"Yeah, we're ready."
"Let's go y'all."
We all walked towards the door of the food place.
I saw Three was just standing there waiting for us.
He asked
"We going in now?"
"Yeah, man."
We were still holding hands as we walked to the back booth.
The guys were in front of us and as we passed our classmates, they were smiling, nodding their heads, and giving me the thumbs up.
Hmm, 10 was right, the class is behind us.
We kept walking and got closer and closer to the booth.
"Mmm, so this is like a diner-type style place. I'm ready to crush."
10 said.
"Talk about it."
Portia agreed, I think?
Joe looked around, twisted his mouth, looked down, and then he shrugged his shoulders and finally leaned forward with his hands linked together.
"Portia, what does that mean? Talk about it.?"
"I'm agreeing with you. You said you were about to crush and I said yeah, me too."
She explained.
"Oh, haha I got you."
Joe laughed as he placed his hand on top of hers and held it.
The guy joined in on their conversation as he kept asking her different items to describe.
I just sat back watching her talk.
She's so mesmerizing.
We finished eating and I was working on finishing my milkshake because we were about to leave.
As I was trying not to get brain freeze.
I started laughing and I tapped Portia's arm.
"Portia, refrigerate."
She started laughing as I kept laughing.
As we continued laughing.
Three-spoke up,
"Aye, Portia I wanted to win you some stuff at the games but it looks like we might have to go to the gift shop or something."
10 agreed as he interjected
"Yeah man same we all were going to get you some stuff. I'm good at the basketball games, Joe is good at the water games, Three is tall enough to steal the prizes from up the top of game booths and Ken can win the strong man game."
He listed off.
He continued before anyone said anything
"But we heard some Lil n***a got his s**t knocked at one of the games and then they just ran off with the prizes. So gift shop it is."
When he said that I looked down and continued finishing my drink as a smirk played on my lips.
She just pursed her lips and looked astounded.
"Wow, I can't believe that. This is supposed to be a family park. A park for families."
I finished the last of my drink and looked at her, like what are you talking about, we did that together.
