The school bell rings

And it was dismissal now

I grabbed my bag

And stood up from my chair

Casting a glance at Soobin

Who made his way towards the girl he now loves

I only heaved a deep and silent sigh

And exited our classroom

I have got to tell Kai about me leaving the country

And just in time

I found the shy boy infront of me

Waving his hand

As he sent me a cheeky smile

I returned the expression

And walked up to him

Quickly pulling him with me

And dragging him inside an empty classroom

He confusedly stared down at me

With a slight blush tinted on his cheeks

"I need to tell you something important"

I said

And i got surprised

When he suddenly pulled me in for tight hug

His arms wrapped around my small waist

I hear him chuckle

But honestly

Kai and I aren't dating nor in a relationship

We just stayed as bestfriends

And that was enough for him

Though

He often says he loves me

"Okay, what is it?"

He asked

Still not pulling away from the hug

My chin was resting on his shoulder

And i wasted no time

And told him that i

"I'm leaving the country, Kai"

Once i said that

I felt him tense in our hug

And he grabbed my shoulders

Pulling me away from the hug

And stared deep into my eyes

"What are you saying?"

He said in disbelief

As i stared up at him

His expression says everything

He was sad and hurt

"I'm so sorry, Kai. I'm leaving"

I said

And looked down in sadness

I couldn't look him in the eyes

"Where are you going?"

His voice sounded low and sad

"To Sweden, with my uncle"

I respond

Trying my hardest not to cry

"But you said you don't have relatives"

"Yes, but my uncle just suddenly appeared and now he wants me to come live with his family in Sweden"

Kai grabbed my hand

Squeezing it reassuringly

And as i looked up at him

I saw a single tear on his cheek

His eyes glassy

And another tear fell

I couldn't help

But also tear up

"When are you leaving?"

He asked

His voice cracked

"Next week, on sunday"

I said

Through my silent cries

And Kai wrapped his arms around me

Pulling me into an even more tighter hug

And the next thing he said

Broke my heart

"Don't leave,

I love you"

He started to sob silently on my shoulder

"I'm sorry, Kai. Our flight has been booked, there is no going back"

"I promise, i'll message or call you every day and night"

I said

And through my vision

I saw Soobin looking at us a few feet away from the window from the corner of my eyes

And i just ignored him

All i want

Is to hug Kai

I pulled away from the hug

Bringing my palms to his cheeks

And wiping his tears

"Kai, i want you to let him know that i'm leaving, okay?"

I said

Smiling slightly at him

He nodded as a response

And i planted a soft peck on his forehead

And hugged him back

I don't have the rights to let Soobin know that i'm leaving

But i want him to feel hurt

Even if i already know he wouldn't get hurt

He wouldn't even care if i leave the country

He wouldn't even care if i die

But

He will always be in my heart

Even if i am far away

I love you, Soobin
