CHAPTER 29

Jennie's Pov

I felt cold with Lisa's word. She's hurt. I always hurt her. I feel so guilty. But I can't do something.

I remained standing for a few minutes.

"Let's all rest now."

I'm back to my senses when I heard Seulgi spoke.

They're all looking at me.

I gulp. I feel the uneasiness atmosphere. I didn't say a word.

Jisoo furiously went to me.

"Jisoo!" Seulgi shout at her. "Let's just rest for now." Then Seulgi made her way to her room.

Jisoo is now in front of me.

"Jennie you know how lucky you are to be with Lisa. Not just because she's rich & good looking, Even though she's a Mafia boss and all you can think is about how cruel she is, I hope you can see who the real Lisa Manoban is." Jisoo said. She stop and sighed.

"I hope you'll not regret those words you spit on her face!' Jisoo added and then walks away.

The others turn their back also leaving me alone in the living room.

My tears started to fall. I felt like I a bad person here. I felt guilty and to see Lisa crying makes my heart cry as well.

I don't know what's happening to me. I deeply sighed.

I go to my room and cry my heart out until I fell asleep.

Next day

I woke up touching my head. Damn it hurts. I cry all night. I don't know how to face Lisa.

I have to go to school so I immediately prepare. After preparing I went down I saw them having their breakfast.

I'm guilty of what happened last night so I don't have the guts to face them. I'll just eat in the cafeteria in school. I was about to walk..

"Where are you going? Have your breakfast first."

I was startled. Her voice was so cold. "Lisa". I mumble.

"I look at her not looking at me. She's busy on her laptop.

"I-I will just eat later. I have to go first." I quickly said then bow a little.

I walk passed them without waiting for a reply. I am so nervous. I don't know why.

I wait for a cab outside. After 5 minutes still there is no cab. I'm getting impatient now.

Then suddenly Lisa's car stop in front of me.

"Get in," she coldly said.

I hesitated for a second.

"Are you waiting for someone?" she asked.

"Ahm no. I'm just- *cut off

"Get in. I'll drive you to your school." She look at me with a cold stare.

"o-okay."

The drive is so quiet. Unlike the other days she have always something to tell. I sighed. I really want to apologize but I can't.

We arrive at school and no one dare to speak. I guess she's really mad at me.

I went off the car but she held my wrist. I look at her and she's not facing me. She hand me a small bag.
