After the start of year 4 at Hogwarts, on a snowy Christmas Eve, Delphine was in her Dormitory sitting on her cozy bed and completing all the homework and revising the charms lesson. She was tired of doing her work, she thought that on a snowy weather like this she should be enjoying the fun with her friends, but she had got a detention from Snape so it was decided that if not the other subjects but at least she should complete her potions work. When it was time to do breakfast she went to the Great Hall and joined the Ravenclaw table where she met the whole friends group.

"Hey Delphine how are you?" asked Barnaby

"I'm fine Barnaby how about you all" she asked

"I am doing my best not to lose my house points" said Ben

"I am practicing my potions skills" said Penny

"I am just learning more about herbs and mandrakes and noting it down, I go each afternoon and learn more about it from Proffesor Sprouts" said Tulip

"That's great!, I wish I could come with you too but I have to complete my revising work" said Delphine

"Me too" said Tulip

"Anyway what's going on with your detention"asked Penny

"It's okay because Snape said that I have to write the information of the sleeping draught and the doxicide potion, but my head is paining after all this revising" said Delphine

"I will help you with your detention later" said Rowan

"Me too" said Barnaby quickly

"No it's okay I'll do it" said Delphine

"If I got a detention from Snape I would nearly die" said Ben

"Yeah Snape surely is a strict Proffesor" said Tulip

"Any way bye guys I need to go now" said Delphine

"So what will you do now?" asked Penny

"I think I'll just take a nap because my head literally needs some rest, and after that back to studies" said Delphine

"Bye guys" said Delphine and went to her dormitory

She looked from the window of her dormitory, thick layers of ice covered the trees and left them white, Hagrid was talking students.

After a while she went to get a nap.

Meanwhile, Rowan and the friends group was planning something for Delphine

"Guys don't you think we should do something for Delphine this Christmas Eve?" asked Rowan

"Yes let's do something special for her" said Penny

"Tulip aren't you going to the greenhouse for more information about the plants this afternoon?" asked Rowan

"Yes why?" asked

"Because she said that even she wished to come with you right so you can take her there" said Rowan

"Oh yes" said Tulip

"Ben, Charlie and Bill you have buy sweets from honeydukes" said Rowan

"Penny and I and will bring the cake" said Rowan

"But what should I do? Nobody gave me a task" asked Barnaby

"You have spend time with Delphine when possible." said Rowan relived as everyone had gotten their tasks.
