New Beggings

So Mom was busy with OPA and I spent alot of my days with Lupe my nanny one day I saw Lupe stay after her normal hours of work and I ask Mom why Lupe didn't went home Lupe told me your mother has a date, and Mom was like is not a date "I'm just having dinner with a friend" and I was like what friend. She gave me a kiss in the forhead and told me to go to bed by 9:00.

That same night I called Dad to talk to him and he sounded like was in a large croud like he was in a restourant so I was like what are you doing in may I know, He was like I'm having dinner with a colleague I told him okay and said good night. I loved the days in Vermont and wanted to move to Vermont because Dad was there and Jerry and Karen and I felt like I was missing alot because lived in DC, Mom told me she was dating this guy that she knew from a long time ago but I never saw him the entire time and on the weekends when I stayed in Vermont I noticed Dad use to leave for the entire night.

Karen, Jerry and I were in the living room one night and they were "I think Dad is dating someone" but we were like if he was dating someone he would let us know.

One morning in DC I woke up super early and made myself a bowl of cereal and as I was walking to the table I saw DAD.... DAD walking out of Mom's room and I just drop the bowl of cereal and I was like "DAD" what are you doing here I asked

Dad: Lizzy...

Mom: Lizzy....

Me: Ummmm Dad what are you doing here.

Mom: Lizzy remember when I told you that I was going to for dinner with a friend...

Me: Yeah....

Me: Dad was the "Friend" you were seen.. ugh

Dad: Lizzy, your Mom and I decided to give us a new chance and we wanted to tell you.

I sat there looking at them, and letting them know how upset I was for what they were doing behind my back and sure I was content because they were giving each other a new opportunity. Months went by and mom and I had moved back to Vermont, Jerry and Karen were happy when they found out we were going to move back to Vermont. I was finally having the family I always wanted, Mom and Dad were together Jerry and Karen were such awesome siblings, they were very protective of me they still are till this day.

My parents got engaged in the most romantic way, Dad had us kids envolved in it all we went to an Island and he rented a little island just for us, him and mom had a cabin for them and we had a cabin for us we went for an entire weekend, Dad had everything planned out and Jerry and him spent the entire day getting everything ready and Karen and I had to keep Mom occupied the night came along and we had an amazing dinner we had a chef just for us sent by the owner of the resort, he felt honor that the former president of the United States of America was attending his bussiness so we finish having dinner and we played it out like we were going back to our room and Mom was not happy about it....

Jerry, Karen and Me: Were going back to our room

Olivia: Nooo.. no guys we came to spend a nice family time

Fitz: Let them... they are just tired from a long day 

When in reality we were going down to the beach to get things ready, and then Jerry texted dad that everything was ready, as they started walking  towards us and I could see Mom, she looked so surpised so we started reading what Dad had written

Lizzy: For ONE MINUTE....... it's just us

Jerry: For ONE MINUTE....... there is just silence and is just you and me

Karen: For ONE MINUTE......... I could go on.. over and over on how much I love you and what you mean to me

Dad got on one knee ...... and started talking 

Dad: FOR ONE MINUTE...... it's just us..... for ONE MINUTE there is silence and is only you and me.... for A MINUTE I will go on and on, on how much I love you and what you mean to me. We shared alot of  ONE MINUTE moments were I just wished they last for ever , when the world got a bit to noisy, Olivia Carolyn Pope I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I know we've had a lot of ups and downs but we were able to find each other back because of the love we have. Olivia Carolyn Pope my "sweet baby" will you marry me.

Mom: Y....... Yes, I will marry you

Dad picked her up and they kissed and we ran over to them an hugged them, she looked at us and said

Olivia: You knew, didn't..?

Jerry, Karen and Me: Yeahhhhhh we knew

We went to our room and gave them there own space, the following morning we went on the jet skies Dad rented we spend the entire day on the beach.

We got back and Mom was planing all of the wedding stuff with Abby and Quinn, Dad was working with his assistant Marcus on were they would build his library, the wedding would take place in our backyard. Wedding day was finally here everything was so beautiful and Mom was known for using pastel colors but she used red this time and it was so so so beautiful her dress was gorgeous the braidmaids use black with red roses, the reception was amazing.

They took off to Aspen,Colorado for their honeymoon. A couple of months later Mom found she  out was pregnant and you know all that comes with we were having a baby brother so all three of us we very excited specially Jerry because he was going to have another boy in the house, he was going crazy with his sisters. A healthy baby boy was born Oliver Thomas Grant life is good and amazing I love my parents and siblings.
