The End of a Presidency

The day  finally came, Dad's presidency was over.

He took the time to reminisce on all the things he had done in his presidency good and bad and the story on his political career, his story with Mom because that's were it all started. As he walked over to Air force 1 I was at Mom's office and she was watching it on all 4 tv's in her office and I could see the look in her face the man and father of her child was leaving the place were multiple times they saw each other in secret.

Months went by and Mom was making the arrangements for her weddings with Jake they were getting married in the summer. I was living in DC with my mother and her fiance and on the weekends I was driven to Vermont to spend time with my father. Summer was around the corner  and Mom's weeding to, so two weeks before mom got married Dad introduced me to Jerry and Karen I was scared because I didn't know how the'll react to me. 

Dad: Karen and Jerry, come down here please.

Jerry: What's up Dad.

Karen: Yes Dad.

Dad: Guys I want you meet your little sister Elizabeth.

Lizzy: Hi....

Karen: WHATTTTT....!!!!!!!

Jerry: Gosh K don't make it that obvious.

Dad: I know that this is a big surprise, and I know I had to come clean with you guys in regards of this, I had an affair with Olivia a couple years ago and because who I was I could't come clean because it would have compromised my position as president but I wanted to tell you.

Jerry hugged me and Karen just stormed to her room, but Jerry welcomed me and told that Karen will get over it

Jerry: I know your mother.............. and I know how Dad feels about her, your Mom and Dad look at each other in a way my Mom and Dad never did. 

Dad went to Karen's room to talk to her she was angry at him, after like 20 minutes he came downstairs  and started preparing dinner, I felt awkward at the table, if I'm been honest. By the end of that same weekend Mom drove down to Vermont to pick me up.... Jerry was coming down the stairs

Jerry: Heyyyy... Dad have you seen my mouthgards and gloves..Oh hi Olivia

Fitz: Back of the car.

Olivia: Hi Jerry...

Lizzy: Mom I'm ready 

Fitz: Olivia can I have a word with you

Olivia: Sure

Olivia: What's going on..?

Fitz: I told the kids about Lizzy last night and Jerry well he took it easy but Karen she's mad at me.

Olivia: Ohh wao

Fitz: I told Lizzy that she is mad at me not her.

On our way back to DC and Mom asked me how  my weekend went and I was like well

Lizzy: I got to met my siblings, and that was a suprise

Olivia: Yeah your father told me, and I want you to know that I know it's alot to process but I want you to know that your Dad and I love you alot.

Lizzy: I know and I love you two so so much to.

When we arrived in DC I entered the apartment and I did see Jake so I was like okay he is out I went to my room to put down my stuff down, I went to Mom's room and didn't saw his things, So I asked were was he and she told he moved out I asked why she said that she was having second thoughts and watching Dad as he left the White House that day she new that she wanted to be with the man she really loved, so got excited finally I would have my parents together.
