When two shots fired simultaneously I was confused, I had only fired one shot, but my confusion didn't last long as I felt something piercing my shoulder.

A bullet, the pain shocked me. And I stumbled to the ground, dropping the gun I had once held. At the same time Pavel hit the ground too.

"Fuck, call an ambulance!!" Kace yelled. As he ran to Pavels side, he looked.......worried?

I felt something get pressed on my shoulder, I looked to the side to see Benjamin. He had taken his suit jacket off and was now using it to stop my bleeding. That just made the pain worse. And everything went black.

The beeping noise of machines brought me back to my conscious state.

I couldn't yet open my eyes but the harsh lighting to sneaked through my lids were enough to tell me that it was indeed morning outside.

After slipping back into an unconscious state I came back but this time my eyes lids no longer felt heavy.

Upon opening my eyes I saw that it had turned dark, the only lighting that graced the hospital room I laid in was the lights installed in the room.

When my vision cleared and started to focus I saw a doctor in-front of me.

"How are you feeling Ms. Laurier?" The doctor asked.

I tried to say something but I came up short. My mouth has gone dry.

"W-w-ater....p-lea-se..." I rasped, my throat felt as if it was on fire.

But the doctor quickly hurried to my side and brought a cup of water with a straw to my face. I drank the water and it felt as if it was the greatest thing to ever grace my tastebuds.

Once I had enough water I was able to clear my throat and start talking.

"How long have I been here?" I questioned the doctor.

Looking at his chart he informed me that I had been here for three days.

"Doctor, can we have the room please?" A person that I had not noticed was in the room spoke up.

The doctor nodded and left. I couldn't bring my head to turn to look at the person but thankfully they stood up and came into my line of view.

"What the hell do you want Kace?" I asked him angry, it was stupid of me to think that it would be anybody else.

"What you did, was reckless." He spoke.

"Kace, not now!" I warned

"I don't see a better time." He crossed his arms.

"I told you that whenever or wherever I saw Pavel I was going to shot him." I stated.

"We're you out of you mind?"
