I got home because I couldn't stand being in that hospital, only to find I didn't have a home. Nor did I have a phone.

I knocked on the door of his house hoping that at least he had the balls to face me after these years but no, instead an old couple opened the door.

"Hello, by any chance do you happen to know the person that used to live here, where they went preferably?" I asked.

"No, sorry we bought this house almost two years ago." The man answered.

He left after I enter into my coma, to say I was hurt would have been an understatement. I bid goodbye to the couple and went to the bank.

When I told them my name they pulled up my records and gave me a temporary card.

"Here you go ma'am," she handed me a check.

"I'm sorry what's this for?" I questioned.

"It was here for you for about two years dropped off and only to be given to you." she shrugged.

I looked at it to see it signed by Kace, that son of a bitch, it was for two million.

There was a letter attached.

'If you're reading this then my love I'm joyful you made it, I can't believe that you know, keeping it was the hardest for me, I knew we couldn't have worked out with him being my father and all. But how I wished so, but my heart breaks because you have woken up without me by your side, by your side is where I belong nowhere else.

I left the country to give you space.

On the day of your mission, I stopped you because my father had changed. He wanted to apologize for what he had done and I was going to come clean to you so that we could move on, but fate had other plans.

After reading it I couldn't help but feel a lump in my throat, my heart hurts, it felt heavy, he's gone. He left me. It was only then that I realized that I did feel the same. Tears threatened to fall. But I wasn't going to ball my eyes out in the middle of this bank.

I left and went to a phone store and bought one, I checked into a hotel.

I dialed Emily's number, after a few rings she picked up. "Hello?"

"Hey, welcome me back into the world of the living."

"Adria!?!?!" She squealed. "I was on my way to the hospital, hold on I'm coming to get you out of there."

"Don't bother I left there around two hours ago."

"Where are you?"

I told her my location, she arrived about twenty minutes later. When she got to my room I hugged her like I was about to die and this was the last thing I was gonna do.
