Chapter: Five
Lydia didn't know how she got where she was, all she knew was she got in her car and she was driving but she didn't know exactly where. But it semed liked body knew where to go because she had her hands on the wheel and her feet on the pedals.
She walked out the car confused and feeling cold in her long shirt and pajama shorts, she was barefoot and she was standing in the middle of a parking lot.
She was panicking.
It was happening again.
She walked through the fog praying that what she felt was wrong, she walked slowly and clutched her hand over her heart as she got closer to the shadow she was seeing.
But once she walked through it she wished she just stayed in her car and drove back to the house.
She couldn't believe it was happening again.
She gasped as she walked up to the body that was laying lifeless on the ground, there was a puddle of blood surrounding it and she could feel a scream building in her throat.
And then she finally let it out.
She screamed so loud and cupped her ears with her hands as her knees smashed against the pavement. She could feel a sob bubbling in her throat after she finised screaming. She stumbled back to the her car and fumbled looking for her phone.
She finally found it and with shaking hands and spiked breathing she typed Jackson's contact name and prayed he would answer the phone.
He did.
"Lydia?" He asked groggily as if she woke him up.. which she probably did.
"J-Jackson. It happened again."
"Wait, what happened?" He asked sounding concerned as the backround of the call shuffled from him probably sitting up in his bed.
"I-I found a-another dead b-body." She managed to say before she was hit with another wave of sobbing.
"Okay Lydia, listen to me. Call the police, call them and tell them you found a body and tell them where you are." He says calmly
"B-But I don't know, I just drove."
"Okay well look for a street sign or use your gps, something that says where you are and then just drive back to your house. Call me back after you call them okay?" He says
"O-Okay." She nodded
"Okay, you're gonna be fine Lydia." He says soothingly.. it helped with the crying cause there weren't anymore tears falling from her eyes anymore.
"I don't know what's happening to me."
"I dont know either, I'm so sorry." He says
"I'm gonna call the police now."
"Okay." He replies
She slowly hangs up and takes a deep breath, she turns on her gps and it tells her where she is. She then calls the police and tells them where the body is, after she ends the call and they say they're on their way se then calls Jackson and starts up her car.
She connects her phone to the Bluetooth in the car as she drives back to the house and Jackson's soothing words keep her calm as she's driving. She finally makes it back home and walks back upstairs to her room and flops on her bed.
"Jackson."
"Yes Lydia?" He asks sounding sleepy.
"Go to bed, I'm fine now."
"Alright, goodnight Lydia." He says
"Goodnight, and thank you."
"Of course babe." He says
She hangs up and goes to spotify, she had connected her Bluetooth projector to her phone and clicked shuffle on her playlist. Once she turned on the projector the bright changing colors on her ceiling and the lazers calmed her, she climbed underneath her blankets and rested her head on her pillow with her teddy clutched tightly to her chest.
After a few seconds she was able to get back to a much needed sleep.

I reallly wanna incorporate Lydia's fugue states in the book and really write scenes for a few banshee episodes like the show did. I was really into those while I was binging the show, I found it so interesting how Lydia would just wake up from driving and she's at a pool and finds a body. That's just one of many scenes of her having an banshee episode. So yeah.. expect alot of banshee things in this book.
