It had been nearly a month since all my people were slaughtered and I was now camped on the outskirts of Fangorn forest, ready to leave at dawn. I had spent the first week after finding my city wrecked looking in vain to see if there were any other survivor in the ruins but eventually gave up and started to spend all my time thinking of ways to sneak into to the fortress of Isengard and then kill the leader of the Istari, Saruman the White.

Its not that I'm foolish I know I can't just storm in on the back of Anith, we would be shot down by the orcs immediately, I would need to sneak in wothout anyone noticing.

A gust of fridgid air pulled me out of my thoughts and sent chill's straight down my spine, without the heat of the sun the night only hours from dawn was cold, especially wothout a fire but if I made one it would alert anyone near of my presence. Besides it was a full moon and cloudless sky tonight and the light glinted of my sword (pic at the top) which I'd been almost unknowingly sharpening on my whetstone a habit I'd picked up and did whenever I was nervous . There was a slight thud and shake of the ground as Anith landed in front of me, returning from scouting the pathway up ahead.

'The way is clear from what I can see' Anith told her through the bond 'We should leave under the cover of darkness.'

"Yes, I shall walk through the woods and you will fly in the cover of the clouds." I spoke careful not to be too loud there was no such thing as being too cautious when you were near Fangorn Forest.

'Please be careful'

"Anith please, you worry to much if I need help I can call and you'll know"

By then I'd picked up my few belongings that had not been stolen or destroyed by the uruks. Quickly I sheathed my sword then set of in the direction of the woods. Anith flew up into the sky and watched my surrounding closely for any sign of danger the dark forest seeming ominous to my left and on my right the plains of Rohan spread as far as I could see.

I had been walking for around two hours with no sign of anything wrong the only sounds being the swaying if branches and rustling leaves of the old tress who's canopy blocked out the sun making it molding hard to see in the gloom and the occasional noise of what I was assuming was the trees talking I'd heard story's of these trees having been taught to speak by the elves it was a strange to hear them speak. Soon after I almost walked into a slight clearing in the forest ajving grown distracting by the forest. With a trained eye I scanned the area but saw nothing, I only hesitated for a moment longer before stepping into the clearing.

But I only made it a few steps in when there was a flash of blinding white light and a person appeared in front of me, it was an elderly man wearing a pristine white robe and holding a staff out of instinct my hand went to the hilt of my sword ready to draw it but froze. The wizard was not Saruman, this was Gandalf who I had seen on the road once before in my travels through the wilder parts of Middle Earth but had not spoken too instead choosing to avoid by hiding higb up in one of the trees nearst me and it has gone fairly well but this time I was here to kill another of his order and that did not seem like a good thing to tell the wizard.

"Let me past or I will have no choice but to fight you." I said using the tone I would when no was not an acceptable answer, now I was speaking without thinking first and it was risky given how powerful a wizard Gandalf was.

"General Princess Tamira of the Dragon Riders, I cannot let you go any further. " Spoke the Istari.

"How do you know my name, and why can't I go further?" I asked getting more impatient by the second.

"Where is your dragon, Anith if I  remember it correctly." With a practiced movement I unsheathed my sword ready to fight the wizard throwing caution to the wind.

"I'll only ask once more why can't I go further?" The wizards expression did still appeared unbothered.

"I cannot let you kill Saruman-"

"Why not? He killed my people without remorse or guilt he deserves death and I will give it to him!" I said on the verge of shouting now all the hidden anger bubbling up to the surface, I need to calm down I was being even more impulsive then usual.

"I cannot let you kill Saruman the White because i fear he is possessing the body and corrupting the mind of King Thoeden of Rohan, if you kill Saruman the king will die with him." Irritatingly the wizard was as calm as ever which only served to fuel my growing rage.

"Rohans problems are none of my concern." Even I could hear the venom in my voice, I don't mean that at least I don't think I do. Gandalf sighed audibly.

"I propose an offer... I have a man, an elf and a dwarf headed this way looking for two hobbits who if have sent off with an Ent. We are going to head to rohan and prise Saruman from theodens mind and banish Grima Wormtongue from the halls of Edoras, If you aid us then in return I will help you take revenge on Saruman."

Well there goes all order in my mind, really Ents. I pushed the thought away and tried to think of over his offer but my mind torn between heading to Isengard now and attempting to kill a powerful wizard by herself and most likely die trying or going with Gandalf to Rohan and possibly gaining allies to help her kill Saruman along with the possibility of dying while trying to gain those allies. The sun had risen by now and they would not have the cover of night.

'Anith, do you think we should go with the him?' I knew Anith had been watching this through my eyes and so I decided to ask her opinion on the matter.

'We should go with the wizard and help the people of Rohan' Anith had always been the wiser and kinder of the two.

"Me and Anith will help you on your  journey."
