Third PersonHe loved her.
He loves her.
At the moment he felt a mixture of a thousand things at once, confusion, guilt but most importantly satisfaction and pure happiness.
He was satisfied with the little goddess that lay in his arms, her dainty eyes closed as her breathing ranged indicating she was fast asleep and he was happy, and grateful that God had been so generous as to enterwine his fate with hers.
In a way he was mad at himself for only realizing it now, for only acknowledging it now. It wasn't just mere sexual attraction nor was it a sense of protection but it was love and he felt disappointed in himself that it took such perilous circumstances to come to that conclusion.
He was happy he knew it now but another underlying thought pricked at his happiness and caused fear to overcome his mind.
What if she didn't love him back.
Evan had never been insecure about anything in his life but when it came to her, when it came to his Rosie he started rethinking every bad decision and every future decision that could possibly impact her or their growing bond.
And now he would obsess over the smallest things including actions he took, not because anyone directly commented on it because to be truthful everyone thought he was perfect including his little Rose.
But he didn't know that.
And even if the evidence sat right in front of him he would still be doubtful of it he would doubt till he received clear confirmation from his love herself.
His hands reached out to his scalp and gripped his hair in a way it almost hurt he didn't know what he would do with himself if he were to tell her he loved her and she didn't feel the same way, it was fine really he wouldn't force her to feel anything she didn't want to feel, at least not anymore, never again.
He was just afraid of the impact it would have on them he didn't even know how to act around her sleeping form now that he was aware of his feelings towards her she was just so perfect and loving and kind and enduring.
And he was just him.
Nothin special just him.
A sad way to think about oneself but it was were his train of thought travelled to.
And he wouldn't think that he was completely insignificant but when it came to a person as magnificent as Rosie he definitely was in every aspect.
He wasn't good enough for her, no one ever would be good enough for her no matter how much sustainable and goodness they could provide or portray , she was just that ever burning light that nothing could outshine.
And it would be the biggest privilege to witness if she would love him back it would make him the happiest man alive, that was one thing he was sure of.
And so he just stared at her, studying every unique feature hat came together to form her beautiful face until his eyes eventually grew weary and he fell into a peaceful slumber beside his love.

Callie huffed once more and used her elbow to prop herself up on Evan's chest carefully admiring the wonderful sight that was his sculpted chest and the beautiful inkwork splattered just beneath his lower abdomen.
She thought he was still asleep, at least that was what she let herself belive bevcause in reality she was completely fazed out by his chest, whenever they hugged or had any form of upper body contact she would feel the large and strong muscle underneath beneath his shirt but had never payed real attention to it before, hell she had never even seen anyboy shirtless before, apart from the time Trey and Chase were in Evan's pool.
