'Having a big heart will always be the worst and the best part of me'

~

Prologue

For the most part of her life Callie Rose had never received true affection.

Her parents were business tycoons who's only concern was their business and the people who would manage to enhance it.

They kept Callie under closed doors making sure she never stepped out of line, out of place, and groomed her to be the perfect child.

And she had somewhat turned out to be, like a little doll following orders always doing what she was told.

She had to follow orders and do what she was told it was essential so she could live her life without problems involving those who cared about her.

Those who claimed to care about her.

Her parents truly didn't, she could be dead in the next second and she believed they wouldn't so much as bat an eye.

Other people would think it extreme they were after all her parents.

But she knew what they we're capable of and she would never put anything past them.

Nevertheless she was a doll, following every order she was given and never once questioning or declining.

She would never even dream of defying them.

Because to her they were her lifeline, what on earth would she do without them how would she ever survive without her dear parents.

They however had different plans for their daughters life.

Plans to sell her off like a piece of meat in order to orchestrate the strength of their so called business.

It was a shame really and it wasn't as if they were drowning in debt or desperately needed to marry her off, she was only 17.

But that's what they wanted to do and they would do it, not caring of it was good or bad for her.

And she would accept and blindly follow along with their antics because she had never detested them she didn't know how to.

She never would.
