Evan's POVWith a whole weekend of not seeing Callie I'm excited to be heading to school Monday.
I searched everywhere for her on Friday after classes ended but I couldn't find her for the life of me.
I dismissed it anyways assuming she had gone home or something.
I take a mental note to start taking her home myself. Why have a driver when I can take her?, that way I know she's safe.
It gives me peace of mind when she's around me, that way I don't have to worry what she might be doing elsewhere without my protection.
I had already made sure those fucking boys or any other males at this school would never even so much as breathe in her direction, I made it pretty clear that I would bash their faces in if they did.
The urge to report those bastards for assaulting her was still there but she didn't want any drama and I would respect that.
Just for her.
Lately I had been drawing attention towards her and added to the fact that she was effortlessly beautiful and my reputation, I knew boys would start to swarm her trying to take her attention away from me, but I wouldn't let them.
She was mine.
And while I knew she wouldn't give them the time of the day considering our engagement arrangements there was still a possibility, anything could happen and I was not open to taking any fucking chances.
I don't think I'd ever be open to taking chances when it came to her, there was just too much at stake.
After stepping on the cigarette I just smoked I pop a piece of gum in my mouth not minding the smell of smoke that radiated off my body.
I only hoped Callie wouldn't mind.
Then again considering the fact that she winces and fights the urge to cover her ears every time someone swears it doesn't look like smoking would be where she decided to draw the line.
Yeah that's a good point.
I only smoked when I was stressed and having her around would reduce that so we were good in that department.
I walk into school and as soon as I do all the students turn to stare at me apparently not having anything better to do with their lives.
I scan their faces and soon realize none of them were my Rosie.
Where is she?
I see Leah just out of the corner of my eye, she's staring at me too along with all the other students but I make no effort to go talk to her, fighting the urge to shoot her a glare as I continue to scan the crowd of students.
Petty I know.
But she also made no effort whatsoever to apologize for her actions the previous week and if she wasn't showing any remorse then I surely was not going to be talking to her anytime soon.
I would admit it was really unlike her to be so quiet about the situation, usually she would retaliate and come up with some devious plan to antagonize whoever had angered her.
This was her regular routine for revenge.
But apart from the minor insult she threw at me whilst leaving the other day she hadn't made any further actions.
At least none that I know of.
Anyways I'm glad she was keeping to herself and if she did choose to apologize in the near future I might be reluctant I don't want to subject my Rosie to any sort of suffering, not any longer.
