-Corpse's POV-

Corpse woke up and rubbed his eyes. He rolled out of bed and dragged himself to the bathroom. He looked at the shattered mirror and got into the shower. He got out and got dressed in black jeans and an oversized black hoodie. He brushed his teeth and hair and went to the kitchen to take his meds. He made a few pieces of bacon for breakfast and realized he had to go to the store. He sighed, feeling his anxiety creep up. Desperate to call someone, he texted his group chat of friends. "Guys, please, I have to go to the store and I would like someone to call me this time.." he said. Looking at the time, he saw it was 10 am. He grabbed his mask as he waited for anyone to reply. Unfortunately for his anxiety, Sykkuno is the one who replied. It's not that Corpse didn't like Sykkuno, it's that Sykkuno didn't help his anxiety too much. He hadn't known Sykkuno too long and he wished he knew him longer, although, they do get along pretty well. They instantly clicked. "Are you sure? I won't talk at all, I just need someone to talk to me," Corpse replied to Sykkuno. "Of course! That's no problem!" Corpse sighed as he saw Sykkuno's reply. He grabbed his earbuds and called Sykkuno. He pulled on his hood and mask and walked out the house. "Sykkuno..?" Corpse asked softly as it was quiet. "I'm here Corpse," Corpse relaxed a little bit when Sykkuno's soft voice filled his ears. "I'm scared.." Corpse mumbled. "It's okay Corpse, I'm here," Sykkuno kept talking and Corpse felt himself smile slightly. He didn't understand people like Sykkuno. Who seemed to radiate love and happiness.. People who seemed to feel happy and knew how to make others happy as well. Corpse admired Sykkuno quite a bit. He always thought of Sykkuno as.. Well as a ray of sunshine in his rather dark life. Corpse listened to Sykkuno talk as he bought all the things he needed. He went and refilled his prescription. He heard Sykkuno fall silent as the pharmacist started talking to him. He was explaining how to use the medication and Corpse rolled his eyes, having heard this his whole life. "So, how long have you had GERD?" the pharmacist asked. Corpse sighed. "A while," he replied. He grabbed his prescription, paid, and left. As soon as he was out, Sykkuno started talking again, apologizing for going quiet and saying he wouldn't say anything about the GERD. "Sykkuno, it's okay, I just don't talk about it too much. I don't really open up about things," Corpse replied. He looked up as he felt something hit his hand. He looked at the stormy clouds and a smile spread across his face. "Sykkuno!" he said with excitement. "Yeah Corpse??" He heard the soft voice reply. "Sykkuno it's raining!!" Corpse said as happiness filled his voice and he watched as people ran inside. "You like the rain?" Sykkuno asked him, snapping him out of his daze. "I love the rain!" Corpse replied. He sighed softly and walked, pulling his hood off to feel the rain hit his head. He mumbled to himself. The rain started to fall heavier and soon Corpse's hair was soaked. He giggled and ran into his house, still on the phone with Sykkuno. "You know why I like the rain, Sykkuno?" he asked as he unplugged his earbuds, put Sykkuno on speaker, and started putting everything away. "How come?" He heard Sykkuno ask back, curiosity dripping from his voice. Something else was there too but Corpse couldn't piece it together. "People go home. They stay inside and no one bothers you! Plus it makes a nice smell and the sound is oddly calming.." Corpse said. He finished putting everything away and took his phone into his room. He opened his window slightly and laid back on the bed, feeling much better about the day.
