Chapter 19

Corpse's POV

A few weeks had gone by and Corpse was finally feeling truly happy. He got a hairless cat named Bingus and took care of himself so he could take care of Bingus as well. He was back to streaming almost daily with his friends, and, of course, Sykkuno. Corpse was zoned out in his thoughts as he played Among Us with his friends. He was blankly staring at his screen, not moving his character or anything. A body was reported and Corpse slowly lifted his eyes as everyone's voices filled his ears. "WHO KILLED LILY?!" Rae yelled over everyone. "HOW DARE YOU KILL LILY FIRST!" Jack said, backing Rae up. "I sus Corpse!!" Toast said. "You always sus Corpse! Where's your reasoning??" Sykkuno said. Sykkuno's voice was soft and angelic like always, with his laughter hiding behind it. "He was just standing there!!" Toast said. "Maybe he's afk??" Jack replied. "CORPSE WHERE ARE YOU?!" Rae yelled. Corpse watched as Bingus jumped onto the desk and stepped on the unmute button. "Hello bingus," he said softly as he ran his hand over Bingus's head. "Corpse!!" Rae yelled again. "Corpseeeee," Sykkuno said. Corpse snapped his eyes up. Everything was silent but everything he missed filled his mind at once. "Shit. sorry guys!" Corpse said softly. "I zoned out.." Corpse mumbled. "Are you okay??" Sykkuno asked. "You know I am, Syk. I just spaced for a second," Corpse said. He moved Bingus from the desk and started playing the game again. As the stream went by, Corpse felt himself falling asleep. He heard a small yawn from someone else and was able to piece it as Sykkuno. "Syk, why don't you head to bed, I'm gonna head off too.." Corpse said, rubbing his eyes softly. "Fine.. goodnight everyone!" Sykkuno said. Corpse and Sykkuno both logged off. Immediately, Corpse got a text from Sykkuno. "I don't wanna sleep alone tonight, I'll be over in 10," it read. Corpse smiled and replied "okay :)" and made sure his house was cleaned. He yawned and made a snack and sat on the couch, watching tv. Sykkuno walked in and immediately cuddled Corpse, falling asleep fairly quickly. "Sleepy baby," Corpse smiled. He picked up Sykkuno, walked to his room, and laid on the bed with him, falling asleep.

A/N: Guysss there's one chapter left :( and it's probably the shortest one. It's mainly there as filler cuz I hate the thought of ending a story on an uneven number. ANYWAYYYY thank you for reading it 🥺
