-Sykkuno’s POV-
Sykkuno looked around the house and found Corpse’s room. He frowned, seeing the mess and grabbed the blanket. He put it in the dryer and went to the kitchen. He hummed softly and started making Corpse some cinnamon raisin bread. He finished cooking and went and wrapped Corpse in the warm blanket. “Watch tv love, I’m finishing up making you some food and then I’m gonna clean around the house just a little.. Then I’ll come cuddle you, okay?” Sykkuno said, kissing the top of Corpse’s head. Corpse nodded softly. Sykkuno walked out the room and into the kitchen again. He took the bread out of the oven and waited for it to cool for a few minutes, texting Toast as he waited. He put his phone down and cut the bread. He put the slices on a plate and gave it to Corpse. “Your favourite,” he said softly. Corpse sat up and smiled. “Thank you, baby,” he said softly. Sykkuno smiled and walked to Corpse’s room to start cleaning. He made Corpse’s bed and picked up some of the trash laying around. He continued around the house and opened a few blinds so the sun came in. Once he finished, he laid down next to Corpse, who immediately wrapped his arms around Sykkuno and held him close. “You didn't have to do all this,” Corpse said and smiled a little bit. “I know.. But I wanted to.. I know you’ve been in a bad place lately so I wanted to help,” Sykkuno explained. Corpse sighed and hugged Sykkuno closer. “I love you so much,” Corpse mumbled, sending a chill down Sykkuno’s back. “I love you too, Corpse,” Sykkuno replied.

As the tv flickered, Sykkuno felt himself drift to sleep. He shifted a little bit, resting his head on Corpse’s arm. “I gotta go home soon..” Sykkuno told Corpse in a soft voice. “I don’t want you to..” Corpse mumbled. “I have to unpack, baby.. I’ll be right back tomorrow morning, I promise!” Sykkuno said, smiling. “Okay.. but be safe please..” Corpse said. Sykkuno nodded and Corpse got up. He disappeared down the hall and after a few minutes, walked back to Sykkuno. He sat down next to Sykkuno and handed him a small pocket knife. The handle was black with a silver skull carved into it. The blade was small and silver, no bigger than Sykkuno’s palm. The knife fit perfectly in Sykkuno’s hand. “Corpse.. I don’t need a pocket knife..” Sykkuno said, amazed by the shiny silver and the small skull. “Please take it.. It can keep you safe incase of emergency.. And I want you to have it..” Corpse said. Sykkuno looked at him. He opened and closed the knife a few times before closing it and hugging Corpse. “Thank you,” he said softly. Corpse looked Sykkuno in the eyes, smiling softly. “I’ll always protect you.. Even if I’m not there..” Corpse replied. Sykkuno blushed a light pink and kissed him softly.
