Chapter 12

A/N: i am planning another story (already) where it would be corpse and sykkuno in high school. would yall be interested in that?

-Sykkuno's POV-

Sykkuno stared at the message from Corpse. "But you're not actually here.. It'd be better if you were.." the message read. "What did he mean?" Sykkuno asked himself as he looked over the sea of boxes in his room. "When do I tell him I'm moving?" Sykkuno asked himself. Sykkuno had gotten sick of living alone, so far away from all of his friends. He had moved to London to experience the new atmosphere but he knew it wouldn't last forever when he made the move. Now here he is, 3 years later, moving back to America. He decided he was going to be moving to LA since that's where most of his friends were. He told no one but Toast he was moving. As he continued packing, he was shocked to hear his phone start ringing. "Hello?" he answered, not looking at the contact name. "Uh.. hi.." Corpse's voice rang through Sykkuno's ears. "Corpse! Are you okay?" Sykkuno asked him, worry clear in his voice. "I'm okay, I was just.." Corpse seemed to stop as if not knowing what to say. They stayed in silence for a minute, worry filling Sykkuno. "Corpse, talk to me.. What's wrong..?" Sykkuno asked softly. He heard a small sniffle and felt his heart shatter. "Corpse..?" Sykkuno asked. "Everything sucks right now, Sy.. and you're the only one that makes me feel better.." Corpse mumbled, his voice breaking. "Oh.. Corpse," Sykkuno said softly, wishing he could give Corpse a hug. "I wish you were here, Sy.. I really do.." Corpse mumbled. Sykkuno sat on the floor, surrounded in boxes. "I will be one day, Corpse.. Promise," Sykkuno said. Corpse seemed to let out a small breath he had been holding. "Everything will be okay, Corpse. I'm still right here. Even though we are forever and a half miles away, I'm still here," Sykkuno said. A minute of silence passed. Then another. "Hey, Sy.." Corpse mumbled softly. "Yeah?" Sykkuno said softly. "Please don't hate me.." he said. "Why would I ever hate you, Corpse?" Sykkuno asked. He loved Corpse, how could he ever hate him. "Because.. I love you.." Corpse said. Sykkuno froze in place. He couldn't think. He couldn't even form words.

He loves me..?

"And.. not as a friend.. Sy, I'm.. in love with you.." Corpse said. Sykkuno's heart started beating fast, his face turned bright red. "Sy..?" Corpse mumbled. Sykkuno couldn't speak, the shock held him in his place. He heard the call end and his heart shattered. "Shoot," he said pulling his phone off his ear. He took a deep breath and called Corpse back.

Fix it. Fix it now. Get him.

No answer. "Corpseee!" Sykkuno called him again. "Please please please," Sykkuno mumbled. No answer. "God fucking dammit!!" Sykkuno yelled. One more time, he called Corpse. "Hm?" Corpse said as he answered the phone. "Corpse!! I panicked and I couldn't answer but I love you too!!" silence filled the air, Sykkuno's heart was pounding as he waited for Corpse to reply. "You don't have to lie to make me feel better, Sy," Corpse replied. Sykkuno's heart dropped. "Corpse I'm not lying!" Sykkuno said and paused. "I swear on bingus." Sykkuno said. He heard a small giggle and a sniffle. "Okay okay, I believe you," Corpse replied. "So what now..?" Sykkuno asked with fear behind our voice. "I'm not one to really go off my emotions.. But.. we can try to date..?" Corpse said softly. "Yes please!" Sykkuno said, a little too excited, causing Corpse to start laughing. "Okay, okay, I do have to go though, I have to get ready for the doctors," Corpse said, slight fear coming through his voice. "Okay, love, I'll be here when you get back!" Sykkuno replied. He smiled wide.

I have to tell Toast!

"Thank you, Syk," Corpse said. Sykkuno smiled even more, if possible. "Always!" Sykkuno replied. "I'll call you when I get back, promise!" Corpse said. Sykkuno heard the call end and screamed in excitement. He went through his contacts and called Toast, smiling and blushing as he waited for him to answer. As he explained everything, his happiness was met with Toat's excitement. "AHHHHH SY THAT'S AMAZING DID YOU TELL HIM?!" Toast yelled. "NO HE DOESN'T KNOW I'M MOVING YET!" Sykkuno said.
