Chapter 11

Her consciousness couldn't believe of what her body just did. Lelouch didn't deserve that...the poor child didn't deserve that. Not at all. But yet, there was nothing that could done about. Right now, she's trapped somewhere, in the prison of Mao. How he's still alive, she doesn't know. Speaking of the devil, he comes out with smooth, perfected steps. The sounds of of his feet echoed through the silent darkness. When he finally reached his crush, he was 'surprised' to not get a greeting.

"It's not polite, you know. When a person comes to you, gotta say hello." He said smoothly. CC snarled and narrowed her eyes at him. "Why should I do that? You trapped me here against my will. If this is your way to win my love, then you have lost. There is no way I would be with a despicable man like you." This didn't sit well with Mao, obviously. Usually, he would overpower her and fill her mind with unpleasant memories. But before he could do that, CC gasped when she saw that her body was standing in front of Lelouch. Who was heavily pregnant and...in a cell.

A cell?

Why?

It angered her to no end, which that anger turned into fuel and eventually, strength. All she has to do is free herself from these chains and kill him for good by using a special spell. But how to do that, she wonders. It took her a while before an idea came to her head.

Oh...

Ohhhh....

C.C smiled slightly and relaxed. "Oh Mao.... I'm sorry," she started as she turns towards her captor, "believe me when I say this. I love you." Mao practically glowed at this, chuckling madly. He walked towards her and hugged the woman close. C.C looked up at him and leaned upwards, kissing him. Mao's eyes widened but he kissed her back. The man hugged her even closer.

After a while, they pulled apart for air. Mao wanted to take things further but C.C stopped him. "I can't perform if I'm in chains. Can you let me go? You can trust me, Mao. I won't do anything." She said. With what he does next comes to show how idiotic and desperate that he could be. Mao takes out the keys to the chains and unlocks them. Immediately, C.C kicks his precious tool and starts rubbing her hands in a circular motion, mumbling a spell. Soon, she slammed her hands on either side of Mao's head, sending beams of her power into his head.

The man screamed and screamed as he turned into dust and went away for good this time, with C.C's consciousness feeling a pull towards the rightful body. Which C.C accepts gladly.
As she goes away, C.C looks at the image of Lelouch in the cell, looking gloomy.

'Don't worry...I'm coming soon.'

Immortality is boring.

At least that's C.C's standpoint ever since she woke up from death.

The witch remembers how she would wander the earth in order to just enjoy nature and maybe find someone. But everyone either ends up leaving, lost psychologically, or dead. In particular, she remembers her time with Mao. The man who was so in love with her that he was blind to even see that he was hurting not only her, but himself as well. Which lead up to his eventual and final death later on.

She remembers that girl, Yuki Yukiko, the girl who had a okay childhood but was happy. Before that fateful day changed her forever. Yuki was killed and buried somewhere deep within, with C.C emerging in her place, promising to live the live the girl never got. But in solitude.

Yuki is happiness.

C.C is sorrow.

Yuki is hope.

C.C is pessimistic.

Yuki is snow.

C.C is dirt.

Why is snow the color white? She would ask and later voice that question to Lelouch. Maybe snow is beautiful, maybe it's color is white because it couldn't make up it's mind on what color is should be. However...just maybe, snow means something else as well.

Like, purity, cleansing and freedom.

Yes, that makes sense.

Especially freedom.

"I want to be...I want to be..."

What? Free?

If so, then she will have to die, for good.
