Chapter 19

The next morning was bright, too bright. The rays of the sun were blinding Lelouch's eyes a bit as he tried to open them. When the rays pulled away from a bit, Lelouch rubbed his face before finally opening them for the day. His lean body stood up and stretched as a soft yawn escaped his lips. Soon, his eyes started to itch. "Should've known that it was bad for me to wear eye contacts while sleeping. Hold on..." he carefully removes each other and held them in his right hand. While using the left one to rub his eyes to his heart's content.

"Ah, your awake. That's good. Do you want to leave this place or not?" The familiar voice asked swiftly.  Lelouch turned around quickly with wide eyes, only to find Antonio with his arms crossed impatiently. Lelouch looked down before answering quietly, "Okay...I would like that. It will help me make my plan a bit...never mind. My answer is yes, I will get out of here and go with you." Antonio nodded his head and took out a pin from his hair, using it to open the lock and let Lelouch out. Well, just barely. The poor man barely ate for a long time and currently looks like a ghost.

Antonio frowned and lifted Lelouch up, throwing him over his shoulder. The eleventh prince protested weakly but the other shut him down. "Shut it, we're going through the secret back door. Once we reach there, you cannot make a sound until we're okay."Lelouch listened and stayed silent as the two approached and went inside a secret tunnel. This was the right opportunity for Lelouch to look upon Antonio for a while. His former lover looks alright except for the hint of dark circles under his eyes. Speaking of eyes, there's something odd about one of them. He glanced closer and suddenly had a feeling that Antonio got the power of the lonely king.

Geass.

Immediately when the two got out, did Lelouch start to question him. "You got geass, didn't you? Why did you get it? Don't you know the danger of having this power? Who did you make a contract with?" Antonio only said this before becoming silent once again, "None of your business. I got this power for you." Lelouch sighed and decided to do something that he never did in a long time, at least for his former lover. He managed to move himself down so that he can face Antonio while still being in the man's hold. Which made Antonio stop moving. His legs wrapped around the other's waist for security as he says this.

"I trust you Antonio...I know that you could never truly hurt me. I...I know that you don't love me back anymore but just know that I love you and want you to be happy. Now, we can continue." He unwraps his legs and moves himself up to go back to the 'over the shoulder' position again.

Antonio pursed his lips, struggling to continue on his nonchalant mixed with 'tiny bit of annoyance' act any longer. Both of them, though it's mostly him, had their faults and mishaps. But things shouldn't have gotten this bad, and would've knew that they would ended up having poor communication. Antonio feels like there is something else wrong with Lelouch that the latter isn't telling him. Whatever it is, Antonio wants to reveal his feelings before it's too late and that he would never get the chance again.

He could feel Lelouch lightly tapping the side of his leg. "Oh yeah, my bad! Hey Lelouch..I want to..." Antonio started as he runs again, but was immediately shushed by the britannian prince. Antonio complied and was silent the rest of the time until they got out of the tunnel.

"Antonio...take me to the kids. I want to see them." Lelouch said quietly as he was being set down on his feet, feeling much better to walk on his own. Antonio nodded his head and started walking ahead a bit. "Yeah...sure, come this way...but first, we need a disguise before anyone starts to recognize you. Follow me." Antonio looked around and spotted an abandoned, red building. He grabbed ahold of Lelouch's hand and dragged him towards it.

Lelouch was confused and tried to ask, but never had a chance, yelling at every turn whenever he felt a car or some sort of vehicle was getting too close to him. Once the two arrived, Antonio let go and walked towards a brown door, knocking twice, then once and twice again before stopping. A few minutes went by before distant cheers and singing could be heard and was getting louder as the person was coming closer. The door was unlocked and opened, revealing a young woman.
