[4 years later] 

Jisung and Jieun is already 4 years old.  They are at grade 1. Haei is tasked to fetch the both of them everyday since Sina is busy.

"Jisung, find where Jieun is we need to go her mom might be worried" -Haei

After 4 years the prediction of Sina and Haei came true. Jieun and Jisung became bestfriends. Haei and Sina is very happy to see their child have a very strong friendship like theirs. Sina trusts Han Jisung. 

Sina even told Haei that Jisung promised to her and he said, "Auntie Sina, i promise to not let Jieun get hurt and i will always be her bestfriend"  

Jisung's POV

"Jieun? lets go, mom said we need to go" I tried finding her but she is nowhere to be found.

"boo!!!" -Jieun

"---mmmOoOoMM!!!"  -Jisung

i cried. 

"Jisung why are you crying?" Mom came asking me. Should i tell her? Yes i should.

"Jieun scared me" i said wiping of my tears. 

"Silly, what will happen when you grow up? Jieun will be the one to protect you? Always be brave Jisung"  Mom even defended her? Hmp, she is not my bestfriend anymore. 

We got inside the car. Me and Jieun is sitting beside each other. She smiled at me but i ignored her. 

[a/n: i really wanna have a boy bestfriend.]

"Jisung look its santa claus!!"  -Jieun

When i heard the word Santa Claus i immediately look outside. Woah,,, i wonder if santa claus is real!! I mean, yes of course he is real. He gives us presents every Christmas!

[a/n: typical childhood beliefs. WHO STILL BELIEVES IN SANTA? I do😭]

"What do you want for Christmas Jisung and Jieun?" Mom asked the both of us since Christmas is coming, we only have 3 days to go. 

"I want a bracelet!" I shouted in excitement. 

"Thats good, how about you Jieun?"  

"Anything im not really picky auntie" Jieun said and mom chuckled.

"Jieun, did your mom left the house? She is not replying on my messages" Mom asked Jieun.

"I dont know auntie. She doesnt have work today" Jieun answered mom and we all stayed quiet.

After minutes of driving and being stuck in the traffic we finally arrived at Jieun's house.

"Ill carry the grocery and you both carry your things." 

Haei's POV

I began worrying when i asked Jieun. Sina always answer my phone calls and text, but now even a seen is not done by her mother.

We arrived at their house. Why is there no lights open? Fuck, this is what ive been thinking about.

"Ill cary the grocery and you both carry your things" i told the kids.

I close the trunk of the car and walked infront of the their door. I tried knocking but no one is answering.

"Sina? Me and the kids are already here!" I shouted but no response was heard. My heart is beating very fast.

I opened the door and......

Blood is everywhere. Sina is on the floor, Taeyon is also at the floor lying down lifelessly.

"Auntie what are you waiting for? lets go inside" 

"Jieun no-"

I was too late. She saw everything now. I cannot cry infront of them. I need to show them im strong. 

"Mommy im home! I got a star from school, why are you lying down you should be cooking right?"

Jieun got close to her mom and saw a blood. "Aunt m-mom and dad is g-gone" Jieun started crying.

It is painful to see her suffer like this.

Third person POV

Jisung was quiet, he understood whats going on when he saw the parents of Jieun lying down on the floor with lots of blood. One thing that broke his heart, is seeing Jieun cry. And he knew that from this day on, he will need to protect and never make Jieun cry. He needs to be with her all the time, he needs to make her happy because that is what he promised to his Aunt Sina. 

Heeseung and Jungwon who was also from school came. 

"Auntie your home? Where is-"

Heeseung's word were cut when he saw his Aunt Haei crying and pointing something inside the house. Jungwon saw Jieun crying and shaking something in the floor.

"MOM!" Jungwon shouted and when he entered, he burst out into tears. Seeing your parents dead by your own eyes is no one's dream.

 The police came, also the ambulance. All they can feel is pain, sadness, and grief. 

"shhh Jieun dont cry now..." Heeseung said while carrying her 4 year old sister.

Jieun is still so little to witness her own parent's death. She doesnt even know what murder means. What will they tell her? 

"o-oppa will mom and dad be alright?"

"Jieun im sorry but theyre permanently gone..."

"Sir may we talk to you for questions?" The police came and called Heeseung. 

"Jisung hold Jieun's hand for a while ill just talk to the police" Heeseung said to Jisung which he immediately followed.
