Third person's POV

Jieun opened the door. Sowon stopped when he saw Jisung and Jieun's brother. Jieun saw her brother and Jisung at the couch glaring at her.

"youre late" Jisung said in a cold tone.

"so what? Why do you even care" Jieun replied and rolled her eyes at Jisung.

"its already 7:24 and the agreement is 6:00 and you are late Heeseung-hyung why arent you doing anything-"  -Jisung

"its fine she is old enough and Sowon sent her home safely"  -Jungwon

Jieun made Sowon sit on the chair. She is preparing the dinner they will eat. Jieun stopped and remembered something. Sowon is just scrilling on his phone. But then he saw something that would answer his questions.

He saw the post of Jisung. Its the one that made Jieun act like this. Sowon turned his phone off immediately so Jieun wont see it anymore.

They both started eating quietly until Jisung came...

"do you like my bestfriend?" Jisung asked. Why is he so numb.

"Even if i like her, she likes someone else who is numb" Sowon said and Jieun dropped her chopsticks.

"Are you okay?" Jisung asked Jieun.

Sowon is very worried now that he knows the reason why. And Jisung here is dumb. Seriously cant he tell that she likes him? Guys are really clueless.

"im okay" Jieun said and smiled. Sowon cant hold it back anymore. He doesnt wanna see Jieun act like this, he doesnt want her to pretend that everything is fine.

But what can he do? Its Jieun's decision not to tell Jisung. Jieun and Sowon finished eating already. Jieun put the dishes in the sink already.

"Jisung can we talk?" Sowon said which made Jieun worried. She is nervous that Sowon might tell Jisung about her feelings. There is a part of her that trusts Sowon and a half that does not.

"Sure lets talk outside" Jisung said and got out of the dorm. Heeseung and Jungwon is at their own dorm already which means Jieun was left alone inside.

"What is it?" Jisung asked Sowon. Sowon wanted to punch Jisung but he cant.

"I am not allowed to tell you, but can you please  be careful with your actions? Youre hurting someone you know. And why the hell are you so numb?"

"I dont understand hahahaha are you drunk or what, thats it? Ok ill be careful next time." Jisung said and entered the dorm again.

Jieun got out of the dorm confused. "What did you told him?" Jieun abruptly asked Sowon.

"I just told him to be careful with his actions nothing else, dont worry" 

Jieun smiled because Sowon kept quiet about her secret. It was time for Sowon to go home already because its getting late. 

"thanks for the dinner" Sowon thanked Jieun who is smiling at him. "be careful Sowon-ah" Jieun waved goodbye to her friend, Sowon. 

Jieun felt relieved because Sowon keot his promise. He entered the dorm and started picking up her things.

She just ignired Jisung. She still doesnt wanna talk to him. She was about to enter her room when Jisung grabbed her hands.

"Whats your problem?" Jisung asked her.

Jieun felt offended because he really doesnt kniw whats going on. He is too numb.

"Jena and you, are you guys dating?" Jieun asked immediately.

"N-no, but im working on it." Jieun felt hurt once again. But she knows its not Jisung's fault. He doesnt know anything.

"well then goodluck" Jieun said and entered her room leaving the numb Jisung dumbfounded.

After Jieun locked the door, she thought of something. She thought that, maybe she just needs to go with the flow, act like its nothing, act like she doesnt like Jisung at all. Thats better. Maybe she can just hide what she feels than lose their friendship in this way.

Maybe she will just hide the pain eveyrytume she gets jealous because that is better. And so, Jieun agreed with what she thought of.

"Tomorrow, i will act like its nothing" Jieun said to herself and then went to sleep.
