**Beth's POV**
The next morning, I woke up on the couch. I sat up and stretched long of how sleeping on the couch isn't a good feeling. I looked around and didn't see Matt. I got up and went to the bathroom. When I opened it, Matt was standing in front of the door.
"Um hi Matt."
"Wanna do something fun?!" He shouted.
"Um sure?" I laughed. He smiled and dragged me to his room. I sat down and watched him toss my bag on the bed beside me.
"Get dressed!" He laughed. I shook my head and grabbed clothes. I grabbed baby blue shorts and a white tank top and white Vans. I got dressed and tied my Vans. Matt wore a white shirt with a jean jacket vest and army jeans with black black Vans.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yup." I said. I grabbed my phone and shoved it in my back pocket. He grabbed my hand and we walked out.
"Where in the world are we going?" I laughed.
"Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica."
"No way! Are you serious!" I squealed.
"Yeah." He laughed.
"I've always wanted to go there! My mom and dad used to go but they never took me and Ray." I said.
"Oh. Well. At least you get to spend it with someone special than them. No offense to your parents."
"None taken." I smiled. He took hold of my hand and lead us to the island for endless amount of fun. We rode rides over and over and won a teddy bear and other cool stuff. Matt was like the kind of water squirts. He had fake necklaces around his neck along with beatbox shades. He also won a shirt that said Smile Bro. And a hat that says YOLO. He looked like a true gangster there as he said.
"Hold up." He said. We were walking back to the car so we'd go home and get food. But he just stopped and kept looking at something.
"Matt?-"
"Give me a pen." He demanded. I searched through my gym bag and surprisingly found a pen in there. I handed it to him as saw him writing something on his arm.
"Matt? What is it?"
"You like skateboarding right?" He asked.
"Yeah. I'm a pro." I laughed knowing I'm not.
"Good. Cause we're joining the couples skateboarding challenge!" He said showing me the information on his arm.
"We are?" I asked.
"Yeah babe! We're pros like you said! We can totally crush those losers! Right?"
"Yeah. I guess." I said.
"We don't have to if you want to." He said.
"No! I do. But. Can we at least practice?" I asked.
"Of course. Anything for you." He smiled. I blushed a little and looked away. He nudged my arm and laughed.
"Come on. Let's go ho-"
"Well if it isn't Matthew Lee Espinosa." We turned around and saw two people looking at us. They came from no where and just stared down at Matt.
"Felix O' Niel. What are you doing here?"
"Well. After you left Bishop, everyone turned their attention on me. I was the new pro skateboarder back home in Virginia. Now we're moving up to the big leagues are." He smirked.
"We? Who's we?" Matt asked. A pretty blonde walked behind from Felix. She waved a prissy wave.
"This is Abby. She's my new girlfriend. I met her just last week at a championship winning of my other winnings from another competition."
