**Beth's POV**
When I arrived at the park, I walked far from everyone else. I walked a little into the woods so I can reach my favorite reading spot.I walked to the biggest tree and walked under it. I sat against the trunk and opened my book. What made the tree my favorite tree ever, was because the vines. They'd sway back and forth when the wind blew. And the sun shinning down through them. It was like my own little world.
I read and read letting the book take me away from reality. Sometimes, you just need a break from reality and be taken away some place far, far away.
Ready in like a magical game. You gotta read to figure out hints to know what happens next. And it takes you on so many, wonderful adventures you just were real. Some are fun. Some are sad. Some are scary. Some are happy. But for me. I prefer romance and adventure. I'm all about getting my knee scrapped.
As I got deeper into the book, two bright, mint green Vans stopped in front of me. They wore khaki pants. I looked my way up slowly and saw they were wearing a long sleeve but cut at the end of your elbows. I looked more up to meet my eyes with his eyes. He had dirty blonde hair and shining brown eyes. I stood up.
"What are you doing here? I didn't think anybody would find me here."
"Isn't it obvious. I see hundreds of people coming here just to make out." He said. I looked away.
"What do you want Espinosa?" I said annoyed.
"I wanna apologize."
"For?"
"Yesterday. At the party. Conner? I didn't have the right to do that. I was just-"
"Jealous."
"No." He said. I frowned.
"Okay is that all?"
"No. I also wanna know if I can take you out." He said. I couldn't believe my ears. This guy wants to take me out? He's like the biggest man whore there is on this planet!
"What?"
"Come on. We could have fun." He smiled.
"And what makes you think I would go out with you?"
"Because I'm pretty darn cute." He smirked leaning his arm over my arm and on the tree. He did have a point. He is cute. But it doesn't accept the fact that he's he man whore.
"No-"
"Hey Matt."
"Hey Matthew." Tow girls walked by and saw Matt and started sinking and blowing kisses.
"Why are you talking to him?! He's my boyfriend!" One yelled.
"No he's not. He's my boyfriends!" The two girls got in a fight over Matt. Matt bent over and picked up my book. He grabbed my hand and dragged me from under the tree. I blushed a little as a guy like him never held my hand.
We walked until we got in my car.
"Matt get out. I wanna go home."
"I underhand that. So do I. So come on. What do you say?"
"I said no, Matt. I'm not going out with the biggest man whore around this school. No offense."
"None taken. Come on please? I can show you how good of a boyfriend I can be. I can prove to you that I can." He said.
"Matt-"
"Yeah I know I'm a whore and everything. But. There's just something about you that makes me go insane." He said. I looked in his eyes.
"I know everything about you."
"Gee, stalk much?"
"No. Your brother and Conner. I know them both well. Corners Cameron's little brother."
"I know." I said.
"I know your life I know all about you. I can show you how to smile again. And I can show fun things."
"Tell me one thing you know about me." I said.
"I know your into romantic and adventure books." He smiled.
"That's too obvious. Everyone knows that about me."
"I know your parents don't care about you."
"Maggie and Lilly told you haven't they."
"No. Ray tells Cameron things. Cameron tells Conner things. And the. Conner tells me things. I know a lot about you more than you think." He said. He leaned in close. A little too close. He puckerd his lips and tried kissing me.
"I'm sorry. Matt get out!" I shouted.
"What?"
"Get out! I don't want to be on a date with you! Go!" I shouted. He gave me a hurted face and got out. I backed away and went home. It took a while since it was Matt's fault. If started getting dark and every time it gets dark, I get tired when I'm driving. I kept swerving into other lanes. This time. I really fell asleep.
And this time. I saw two bright lights coming my way. I woke right up and swerved away dodging other cars and I hit a tree.
