Player: Chapter 16

**Beth's POV**
A few days later, my leg was healed easily but I'm limping. There's another game day but it's not until next week. I'm pretty pumped about it.

"Maybe we should go to that party Cam's been talking about." Suggested Matt.

"What party?" I asked.

"You know. That party I've been talking about this past week."

"No." I laughed shaking my head.

"Hm. Okay. Well. Cam's throwing you- OH WAIT I FORGOT THERE'S LAUNDRY TO DO!" He yelled and ran off.

"Matt? Okay what about the party?!" He didn't answer. I shook my head and called Cam.

"Hey Beth."

"Hey Cam."

"What's up?"

"Well. Matt just told me that your throwing a party?"

"A party? No I'm not doing anything tonight. Although I know Matt planned coming over tonight. you, Matt, me, Nash and almost all the other guys. We're hanging out. You know, some family reunion thing." He laughed.

"Okay. Just asking."

"Okay. What? No Matt almost did though-"

"Cam?"

"Huh?! Sorry I gotta go. Uh. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up and sat on the couch. Matt walked in minutes later and stared at me.

"Uh. Hi Matt." I smiled.

"Go get dressed. We're gonna go see Cam." He said. I nodded my head and walked away. I got dressed as Matt said and met him in the living room.

"Are ya ready?" He asked. I nodded my head and we walked out the house. We jumped in his car and started it.

"Wait."

"What's up?"

"Maybe you should go see Ray. You know? You haven't seen him the day we left the hospital. That was about two weeks ago." He said.

"Yeah. Maybe. He must be worrying about me." I got out and walked to the front door. I got the spare key from under the matt. I unlocked the door and saw everything was neat. Surprisingly it is.

"Ray? Are you home?" I called.

"Beth? Is that you?!" I heard him called. I smiled a little and walked to the living room. I looked to my left and saw Ray in the kitchen cooking food.

"Uh. Hey. Ray."

"Hey Beth." He said. I liked around and analyzed to see if anything changed. Only more baby stuff is here.

"Where's Sarah?" I asked.

"She's upstairs in the shower. Where's Matt?" He asked.

"In the car waiting." I said.

"Where ya'll going?" He asked.

"Cam's. We're having a family reunion." I said. Ray made a face and looked annoyed already.

"What?" I asked.

"That doesn't make any sense." He said.

"What doesn't?" I asked.

"Their having a family reunion. And my question is, who's we're?" He asked.

"Me, Matt, Cameron, and the others." I said.

"Wow. Some family."

"What's wrong with you?" I asked.

"How is that even a family?"
