Player: Chapter 3

**Beth's POV**
The next morning, I woke up to get ready for school. I don't want to, but I want a great education so I can go to collage and be prepared to be out on my own.

I walked down the stairs and saw Cameron crashed on the couch. I rolled my eyes and walked to him.

"Cameron. Cameron."

"What." He groaned.

"Go home. I'm tired of seeing you sleeping on my couch every morning after some party. Now go." I said shaking him.

"No."

"Yes."

"No!"

"Yes! Or I'll get Ray to handle you."

"Like Ray would do a thing to me." I frowned knowing Ray probably wouldn't. I walked away and into the kitchen. I grabbed the Frosted Flakes cereal box out from the cabinet and grabbed the milk out of the fridge. I poured them and started eating.

Minutes later, Ray came down stairs and looked at Cameron.

"Cameron. Go home."

"No."

"Now or I'll telling everyone you got laid by three people last night." Ray said. I spit out my cereal and started coughing.

"What's up with you?" Ray said looking at me.

"Nothing." I said trying to hide my laugh. I looked at the time.

7:15am

"I gotta go Ray. Bye."

"Bye Beth. Aye come home after school. I wanna tell you something. It's about mom and dad."

"What? I was gonna go to In-N-Out after school with Maggie and Lilly."

"Fine. I guess it can wait." He said.

"Thanks. Bye."

"Bye."

"What about me?!" Cameron said sitting up.

"Ew." I said and closed to the door. I walked to my car and jumped in. I loved having my blue Mustang. It's like life for me. I treat her like its my baby.

I arrived at school and met with Lilly and Maggie.

"What up. What up." I giggled.

"Nothing really. What's up with you?"

"Nothing." I said. I looked at Lilly as she talked. I looked past her and saw Matt. I felt my body grow with anger and hatred.

"Can we go inside?" I said through gritted teeth. They both agreed and we walked inside. All we did was talk about the party last night and boys really. Nothing's never really exciting unless there's a fight at school or something.

It was the afternoon and me, Maggie, and Lilly went to In-N-Out. We orders what we wanted and sat outside.

"So did you hear Cameron got laid last night with three girls?!" Giggled Maggie.

"Gee. I wonder who was lucky this time." Lilly said looking away.

"Do you like him?" I laughed.

"Ew! No! I mean. He's cute and all. But. I don't think he's the right person." She said. I nodded my head.

A group of boys came walking by and stared at us. Some whistled and some winked. I smiled at one until I saw him. Matthew. He glared at me. I formed.

"Beth?"

"Huh?!" I said.

"What's up with you?"

"Oh. Uh. Nothing." I said looking away. I ate my taco and went to the car. I waited for Maggie and Lilly to come and we went home. Well. They did. I went to the park to read for a little.
