I just had an idea. What if kaede (or another character) suddenly regained their pregame
memories and forgot their in game memories. That would make terror.
Imagine kokichi walking by saying "You look stunning today himeko."
She would be waiting for the tease and then not get it.

Kaede POV
If shuichi had found the book to open up a secret room
for the mastermind, then there's got to be more secrets in the library.
There was a book that spoke out to me. It's cover was blue and black, it had
a binder and it was named ......... pregame? I opened it up.
Suddenly, I felt sleepy. Soon I dozed off.
Pregame Kaede
I woke up on a bed, maybe the school nurses bed.
The weird thing is I don't know how I got here. The door
jolted open, it was shuichi!
What was that freak doing here! He was holding water.
"Are you okay Kaede?"
Shuichi asked
I was about to faint, shuichi ....... say that, Impossible!
"Is it poisoned?"
That was the only logical explanation
"No, why would you think that"
By the look on his face I knew he wasn't lying, how
could this happen!
Did someone curse shuichi or something?
Then someone walked in..........
