7:30am . The bright red flashing and beeping were what woke Sero up. Opening his eyes slowly, he first caught a glance at the flashing red lights displaying the time for him. At first, it felt like he couldn't even hear the obnoxious button until he sat up to stretch and attempted to get out of bed. Key word: attempted. Sero was quite ready to go back to bed, and possibly sleep in. But even so, he wouldn't hear the end of it from his parents and worse: Mr. Aizawa. The last thing he wanted was to get into deep trouble today.
Sero got out of his bed and continued stretching. Maybe a hot bath might do. no, it might convince him to stay home. And burn. Cold shower it is. His morning routine isn't something to be weirdly detailed about. It was quite normal actually. After taking a shower and brushing his teeth, Sero would get his hair ready- in under a maximum of 15 minutes -and of course, find his school uniform ready to go. Even from outside, Sero could hear the faint sound of rain. Something that he secretly had an interest in. Something about it... he liked it.
Of course, he was still VERY early for school. There's nothing wrong with wanting to go out and check out the rain, right? No, he assumed that maybe an 'authority figure' would catch him. Was getting caught worth it? In short, yes. It was. Shuffling through his room, he was at least able to find an umbrella his parents had dropped off at some point. He originally planned on giving it back to them, but then again he wouldn't be able to afford another one. Money was scarce for Sero, but at least he had the money for breakfast eggs.
Peaking through his door to notice his surroundings, Sero was quite positive that no one would notice his disappearance. Grabbing his money and bag, He was able to make it off campus without alerting anyone or anything. Sero wouldn't say the sun was out but it felt like it. The calm in his eyes, looking at the sky as if it was basking him in only the finest of riches. Which to him, that was the case. Despite his umbrella being his only protection from the wet sky, he could still feel small droplets hit his nose, arms and face.
It felt comforting. And it wasn't a small moment of comfort or reassurance either. It was more of an ever-lasting thing. It felt like something he would keep as a memory forever. No, Sero would never admit it to his fellow peers about his liking to the rain. Especially not like that. He would sound crazy! What kind of person is obsessed with the rain. Nothing to it right? Truth be told, Sero had always thought that rain was romantic. Imagine it; a couple sharing a wonderful kiss in the rain, umbrellas on the floor while loving each other
Sero could even hear the faint sound of thunder. Of course, it felt as if he was in a blissful spot, the people around him were overcrowding, pushing, and even mumbling. Not even likes rain, not everyone had the time to stop and admire it. Wasn't their fault of course. Life has a course that makes you busy and not has the urge to stop and look. Of course, after Sero had bought morning eggs from a store, he was still pretty early. Good for him! But where would he eat his breakfast in peace? He'll find a place eventually.
Didn't take long before Sero had seen an entrance for the park. The entrance looked nice, and he was sure a bench would be there. Nothing like checking a new place out either. He had the time and there was a garden spot too! how nice, and quite convenient for him as well. A hop and a step later, Sero finds a lovely spot for him and his breakfast. A nice sitting area with a small lake, lily pads, and flowers too. Taking a step forward he could see frogs as well. Sero liked frogs. Frogs were neat to him.
He closed his umbrella, took a step inside the open sitting area. The seats were wooden, but soft as well. There was a roof to cover him as well, but just like his umbrella, he was still able to feel the rain. soft rain droplets. he smiled in satisfaction and began eating. The quiet was nice, but he wondered if his friends would ever bother to join him. Probably not. At least the eggs were good. And still warm. It quickly filled Sero's stomach, the nice feeling and taste of the yolk melting inside his mouth and filling his appetite.
Wasn't long before his peace was disturbed, however. Well, he wouldn't call it to disturb, more like a turn of events. He saw someone standing in front of the garden entrance. they were also holding a schoolbag and a bag. of what? breakfast? Sero wouldn't see it that way, it looked like the bag contained more than one thing. trying to get a better look was a struggle however, Sero didn't want to be seen as a weirdo and looking back at the person. They were a student too at least. But where exactly? Not U.A to say the least.
The awkwardness and tension seemed to be far too much for Sero. Plus the person had a frog umbrella. Do they like nature or something? Well no, I mean anyone would consider frogs cute amphibians. taking one last bite of his eggs, he had called out. His voice wasn't forced or harsh, softer yet loud. You can still hear him but his voice was soothing either way.
"excuse me! Are you gonna keep staring? Or are you going to take a seat?"
