After that day, after the rain had stopped you no longer saw or talked to Sero. The two of you never bothered to exchange numbers you were so hurt you left as soon as he answered. That was the last time you and Sero had saw each other face to face. Now you rely on News Article and even clips from the sports festival to even grasp his presence again. It never worked in all honesty. Throughout the school year, you stopped going to the garden yourself. You left your umbrella in the closet, Never to be seen or to be touched.

Now at least you have a part-time job, along with school. However, your mom picked up on your attitude and told the school you would be taking a break for quite a while. {Y/F] still dropped off your schoolwork and wished for your return, but right now you were just stuck. You wished to see him, at least one last time before you die with your feelings. Well, that was a little dramatic, but looking out the window you had every right to feel that way. The sun was the worst thing out of all of this. No more rain, and you rather not use your quirk to make that happen. You don't want it happening again.

That was enough moping for the day. you grabbed your bag and informed your mom you were heading to work. Your boss had called you in and asked if you could do overtime and fill in for another employee. The extra cash didn't hurt anyone so you agreed anyways. Entering the diner, you were greeted with the fresh smell of breakfast and lunch. The ambiance was enough to make you forget about everything from before, but of course, it wasn't that easy. Despite the smell, it felt like the sun was the thing you smelled most. The sun... What does it even smell like?

The outdoors was what you heard most. The trees whistling, cicadas around and about and not to mention the smell of the star you loathed most. Right your relationship with the sun was not the best. Each day you found yourself cursing at it, stepping on leftover puddles, and even hoping the sun goes away. 'dumb, dumb sun. No one likes you' You thought to yourself in hopes the sun might hear you. How childish.

You made your way to the back, tying up your apron and grabbing your notepad. You took orders and cleaned the dishes while your co-worker cooked and he was quite good at it. But quiet. Too quiet, but then again who are you to judge. You made your way to the front and clocked in, thus beginning your shift. You took orders, delivered them, received tips, washed dishes, and all that sweet jazz. It was only until 2 hours in that you heard the jingle of the store's bell, inciting that someone or maybe a group had entered.

"Welcome, how may I-" But as you turned to the group you froze. A group of 6 people. One with blonde hair, red hair, yellow hair, purple hair, and even one with pink skin. If you were asked who was prettiest it would be one with pink skin. she gave you a vibe of someone who's just ready and outgoing. But never mind that group. There he was, with them. There was Sero along with the group and it seems he had noticed you as well.

"How may I uh, help you." You asked with a forceful smile, you attempted to not gaze at Sero, you knew he was looking at you, but a part of you didn't want to see him. Especially now, with your grease smeared apron, a sweaty forehead, and eye bags. 'What a mess!' you scolded yourself. The timing couldn't be any worse for you right now. There was no one to blame but the sun. Screw the sun.

"Table for five please and one private table for the two of us," The yellow-haired said, doing small finger guns and a wink. Before you could respond the blonde one smacked the back of his head and scolded him for being embarrassing. It seemed everyone was used to his yelling. Was this the group of friends Sero was talking about?

"Sorry about him!" The Red-haired said, his hair seemed rather.. crunchy. quite the contrast to Sero, who always appeared to have silky smooth hair. "Table for six, if you don't mind."

"Right, of course, follow me!" you led them to a booth, gave them their menus, and said to call you whenever they were ready. But before you left Sero, who was sitting at the edge had grabbed your wrist, causing you to turn. "Yes?" you responded

"Can we talk when your shift is over?" he whispered, the others quite oblivious as they looked through the menu talking about the variety of food you had.

"It ends in an hour."

"I'll wait."

It seems like Sero personally wasn't taking no for an answer. "Fine." You said and walked towards another table who had called you before. The rest of your shift had gone by quite smoothly. Sero and his group of friends enjoyed their meal and gave you an extra tip while the blonde one was quite skeptical.

"I'm sure I can cook better" He grumbled. You looked at him and pointed at the help wanted sign. "Well let's see if you're all bark and no bite." you hummed and let the group leave. But Sero stayed. He stayed by the same booth, watching as you took orders treating and serving the other customers until the place was almost empty. There was just an old lady who was drinking coffee and seemed fine for now.

Closing time was close, so you began putting up chairs, washed the dishes, grill, and wished your coworker a good night, same with the old lady. Once you were sure you finished everything, you untied your apron and sat across from Sero.

"Wow."

"What?"

"You do that every day?"

"Yeah? What about it?"

"Nothing it's just.." Sero looked out the window and looked out the window. "I don't think any average person can do that every day."
