there's a girl who belongs to the sea
born from sea foam and poseidon's blessingthe waves whisper her name
like she has never heard before
a hunger that'd devour her whole
with the next tide, she has dived inthere's a boy who yearns for the ocean
a storm in his eyes, but he never criesthe wind carries him far away
to a different, distant shore
somewhere on the silver moon
the sea is trying to come home to himsilly boy sitting on the moon
silly girl swimming in the deep blueI hear their laughter
in the whispers of the waves- April 13th, 2021
