summary : story whereby Chuuya wants to keep a distance from Dazai to not let schoolmates misunderstand them

"psst... dont cha think Chuuya & Dazai are really close?" Chuuya was buying a can of soft drink at the vending machine, accidentally hearing a small conversation at the corner of the wall.

"aint they just friends?" the other girl said

"friends being so close to be together for 24/7? i even saw Dazai feeding Chuuya food that one time" the idiot jealous girl spoke.

"hahaha are u just scared someone else might steal ur Dazai"

"no but... Chuuya is really so close to him. and as u already said Dazai is mine" the Dazai-obessed girl spoke.

Chuuya just rolled his eyes at their stupidity. him & Dazai being close? like more than friends? its impossible. Chuuya doesnt even like Dazai. *scoffs u sure abt that*

walking back to class, Chuuya mentally decides to keep a distance from Dazai these few days so that the others wont misunderstand their relationship. i mean... Dazai is the popular one in school , with a ton of fangirls. The ginger did not want to be the obstruction that prevents Dazai from dating other girls.

as said , both Dazai & Chuuya are really close to each other. they go to school & go back home tgt. they spend the whole recess together and always partner each other in every single project given out.

of course, they always bicker around , with Chuuya chasing Dazai around the school with many insults shooting out of his mouth while the bandage-obessed just hysterically laughing, making the ginger even more mad. both of them are infamous for making so much chaos & troubles in school , probably hitting the world record for getting the most detentions ever.

RING RING RING! it was finally recess. Dazai hopped over to Chuuya's seat but saw that the latter already quicky exited the classroom. The brunette was super confused. did Chuuya forget to have recess with him today? or did Chuuya have someone else to hang out with? suddenly, a group of girls surrounded Dazai asking him to have recess with them.

only person Dazai wanted to have recess with was obviously—Chuuya Nakahara. Dazai sighed as he walked to the canteen alone and spotted Chuuya sitting at a table with Tachihara ( a classmate ) while laughing at his jokes.

irritation built up in Dazai. he did not like the sight of Chuuya NOT hanging out with him especially with ANOTHER guy.
Dazai slowly walked towards the table. Chuuya quickly spotted the brunette walking towards them , giving Tachihara a lousy excuse and dashed off like he saw a cockroach.

Tachihara just seemed confused , turning behind to see a rather annoyed Dazai standing behind him.

"where did Chuuya go?"

"well... he suddenly said he has an upset stomach and had to go to the toilet."

Dazai sighed as he sat next to Tachihara. he suspects that Chuuya might be avoiding him for god knows what reason.

"you alright buddy?" Tachihara asked concernly.

"why did he suddenly eat with u during recess today?" Dazai massaged his forehead , trying to supress the forming of a frown.

"umm idk? he said he just wanted to have recess with me today. i mean Chuuya and I are friends too."

Dazai just glared down at the table, he doesnt understand this unsettling feeling building inside him. "im going" the brunette just said firmly , before heading elsewhere in hopes to find Chuuya.
