summary : dazai is port mafia boss while chuuya is the port mafia executive. AU where dazai wants their relationship to go public while chuuya worries about port mafia's reputation so he wants to keep it a secret.

"chuuya-san, boss's orders to the office!" chuuya groaned, the brunette seriously cant give him a break. he sighed as he slowly put down the list which he was suppose to tick for the goods that have arrived before getting interrupted.

"did u do something wrong, chuuya-san? boss has been calling u in quite often now." chuuya look to the side to see his subordinate ask him with curiousity in his eyes. its not like the ginger could deny it. boss indeed has been constantly calling him multiple times in a day and has been stopping him from completing his tasks.

"um no no." chuuya smiled sheepishly while gently scratching the back of his neck. "its just that there are many things the mafia has to do these days."

"oh, alright then! i can help u tick the list for the goods, chuuya-san!" chuuya smiled down at his subordinate appreciatively, he would really need to give the brunette a piece of mind later. the ginger hated others helping him finish his tasks. he didn't like how they would have to spend their own precious time on helping someone like him when they could be doing more productive things.

chuuya strided towards the boss office. clicking the 49th level, the elevator shoots up. finally arriving with a 'ding' sounding, he was greeted by tall doors. they were magnificent, tall and sturdy, just exactly how the brunette perfectly got it designed as. chuuya grips the handle before regretting his actions almost immediately.

"boss, um so this is our proposal for-" a subordinate chuuya did not regconise was cut off by the sound of someone entering. both the mafia boss and the subordinate turned their heads to see the little ginger standing at the doorway, rather flustered.

"o-oh m-my god-d. i-im so sorry. continue with ur presentation." chuuya grinned awkwardly, his whole face turning to a deep shade of red, before quickly retreating back to where he came from.

"um, boss? do i continue?" the subordinate asked hesitantly.

the boss mafia spun around in his super fancy and comfortable chair to have his legs sat on the oak, ancient table which probably cost more than one's salary for a whole 6 months with the name 'dazai osamu' written on a gold name plate standing proudly. "no. im afraid we have to postpone ur presentation today. i have quite important business to deal with chuuya." dazai slowly smiled, the emptiness in his heart slowly getting replaced by excitement at the sight of the ginger.

"oh. okay, then. have a nice day, boss." the subordinate seemed a little disappointed, he just wanted to get his presentation done with. "chuuya-san, u may enter now." both of them awkwardly bowing at each other before they seperate ways.

"didn't i say knocking was important?" dazai smirked and spoke in a teasing tone at the sight of the ginger entering. "who knew u were so needy. what'cha want, dazai?" chuuya rolled his eyes, slowly making his way to the center of the room, his office was just that spacious. it is majestic, tall, rich with expensive furniture. as expected of the brunette's office, since he was always really extra when it comes to buying. chuuya had to reprimand him and constantly control the mafia boss from buying the most random and useless stuff.

"oh, i dont really like the tone my executive is speaking to me right now." dazai's tone shifted to a lower, serious tone with his eyes making intense eye contact with the smaller.

"my apologises, sir. what would u like me to do this time, boss?" chuuya quickly adapted to the change, shifting to a more polite and formal tone but there is a hint of sacrasm in his words. dazai scoffed at the ginger sudden change, before beckoning him to come over. "what?" chuuya raised a questioning eyebrow, hesitantly inching closer.
