summary : fluffy cute date to the amusement park for chuuya's birthday

"osamu. hold upp" chuuya wailed trying to get the stupid brunette to slow down but he only tightened the grip around chuuya's wrist, pulling the ginger into the mingling crowd with more force. chuuya only sighed but a small smile crept onto his face. his stupid boyfriend had this date planned perfectly, and judging dazai he would have it done almost flawlessly.

"better hurry, chuuya. one minute late and rest of my plans would be affected." dazai spoke in a sing-song manner but the ginger knew his lover was serious about this. because... today was his birthday. his 22nd birthday to be exact. last year, dazai had burned down his entire kitchen while trying to bake him a cake, he knows that his considerate lover would want him to have an unforgettable and enjoyable date today.

he was getting dragged through the throngs of people at the train station, pulled to walk up the stairs clumsyly, almost missing his foothold, would have probably slide down the staircase if wasn't for dazai's pulling onto him.

thankfully they managed to run into the about to leave train, barely even making for it. after they found two empty seats at a corner and settled down, chuuya shot a frustrated glance towards the brunette. "do u know how tired i am right now, osamu?" the ginger huffed in such a cute manner, dazai's heart couldn't help but ache at such a precious sight. he absolutely love his adorable, tiny chibi.

"next time, fucking run by yourself." chuuya twisted his lips in what seems like an attempt for a scowl but only came out as a cute pout. "but, chuuya." dazai whined in a ridiculously childish tone, shooting the other watery, puppy eyes. "if we didn't hurry up, u wouldn't be able to enjoy your birthday fully."

the ginger sighed at those words. he wanted his boyfriend to know that he was contented with even spending his birthday just lazing around in their shared apartment, that he didn't expect or want much from this day. "dazai, i already told u. i just want us to fully enjoy my birthday together, alright? there's no point in rushing the activities if we aren't going to have fun." the ginger's heart immediately softened at the understanding nod, he knew how much the brunette cared.

"i will, chuuya." dazai chuckled softly before poking onto chuuya's soft cheeks, squeezing it tightly to stretch the flesh which made the ginger instantly irritated. chuuya slapped dazai's hands away from his cheek, slightly embarrass that his boyfriend was doing such a thing in public. the ginger had never got use to receiving affection in public, still fully cautious and aware of the glances people around them would give.

"is my baby getting shy on me?" chuuya wanted to swipe that cheeky grin off his lover's face so bad, despising the teasing tone he was using. "shut up, bastard." the ginger waved a clenching fist in front of his boyfriend's face, threatening him that if he doesn't behave there would be consequences.
and of course, dazai wouldn't be bothered by it. all of chuuya's threats never seem to work at all.

"where are we going first?" the ginger asked curiously, leaning onto dazai's shoulder to settle more comfortably in the seat. he always loved the warmth radiating from dazai, the safe and secure feeling that was evidently present when the brunette was next to him. chuuya looked up to only have the younger winking at him, a teasing smirk plastered on his handsome face.

"its a secret, sweetie. if i told u, it wouldn't be a surprise anymore, would it?" the ginger nodded as he resigned to his fate, he knew his lover would not leak his plans so easily. so, for the rest of the train ride, chuuya was drooling all over dazai's shoulder, in his own deep slumber. the brunette chuckled softly, his cutie looking the most peaceful and at ease when he is sleeping. he let one of his hands trail around the ginger locks, his fingers enjoying how soft and fine the hair swirled and fluttered against his skin.
