Nothing Like The Rest

Power Breakdown Part 1

Yeah I'm writing this one thanks to hennessytalks because in the last chapter her comment on the rankings of demigod powers actually interested me a lot. I want to give you guys a rundown on the powers of the current characters.

So let's start with my baby.

I'm only doing four characters for this one....yeah.
NERO

Hydrokinesis(yes I'm calling in the big words): He has the ability to control water in large amounts and move it how he wants.

Cyrokinesis: He can create ice in large quantities from the water around him and that ice can be used for offensive attacks. Eg. Creating ice stalactites to impale an enemy

Atmokinesis(Mild): He can influence the weather around large bodies of water and he can cause rain. Fun fact it usually rains when he's in a good mood.

Water Generation: Nero does not need a body of water around him to use his powers. He is very capable of creating water bodies as large as a whole city in thin air.

Earthquake Generation: Nero is(was) capable of creating shockwaves by stomping on the ground. This is very different from mere physical strength, what he does is create a magical release of underground pressure that causes what humans call an earthquake.

Summary: His powers were majorly built around strength, both mentally and physically. Nero is a character that honestly holds a lot of potential and the next few chapters will be used to show this.

CHRYS

Okay so Chrys is one of the characters with the widest range of powers and I don't know if I want to list them all here.

Intelligence: This is something that should be taken seriously when it comes to Chrys or any child of Hermes for that matter. Chrys is the smartest demigod on Earth and not even people like Savanna are comparable to him. If he decided to start another World War that would be as hard for him as it is for you to play tic-tac-toe.

Flight: Chrys is the fastest being on earth in air(gods do not count as living beings, they are literally just personifications of different concepts) and could easily travel around the world in two hours.

Persuasion: He's the son of the god of trickery, it comes naturally with the package. He's capable of making someone commit genocide and has done that many times in the past. This is not hypnosis, the person he uses it on is in full control of themselves.

Snatch: I want to go into depth with this one because it could be hard to understand. Originally Hermes created this so that he could play tricks on people more effectively by taking something they have without them even noticing it happened but Chrys used it better. He was training with Alon one day and decided to see the limits of the power, that day he took Alon's arm off, and it worked so well that Alon hadn't noticed that his arm was removed. He can take almost anything from anywhere as long as he can see it or it's in his spiritual range(I'll explain that later.

Impersonation: He used this ability to trick Orion and impersonate Zeus. That's it.

Summary: Chrys made himself a master assassin and used all the powers he had in ways to make sure that this was clear to everyone. He is a psychopath(Apollo literally diagnosed him) and sees nothing wrong with mass genocide as a way to "release pent up frustration."

It's time for my favorite character. He's my fav, he should be yours too and most especially he's my fav.

Now introducing.....

ALON

Alon also has lot of powers and it's late here so I won't list all his powers

Heliokinesis: The ability to control the sun or solar energy. This is one of the most feared powers in existence because of its sheer destructive strength. It's a power that must constantly be restrained and controlled if too much damage is not wanted. There's nothing that could even compare to the power of this power.

Photokinesis: The ability to manipulate light. This is not a torchlight and is not to be seen as one. Light can be used in different ways, especially when it comes to magic. This power is also highly feared among gods and demigods because of the many ways it can be used. No literally, light beams capable of erasing a whole city from the map, illusion and sight control, surgical lasers that can cut through atoms and many more.

Truth Sensing: It's in the name don't be dumb.

Audiokinesis: The ability to manipulate sound. The first power that Alon ever learnt. Anything from sound bombs so loud that they could deafen an Olympian to Screams so high that they could burst through metal, no not glasses, metals. The real danger in this power is the fact that it's caused by creating vibrations and shifting particles, when used in the right ways it could lead more than just a burst eardrum. It naturally made Alon sensitive to all sounds made. Thanks to this he can hear the sounds made in your mind when you think.
✨ MAGIC ✨

Voice Enchanting: This is another skill that he's born with, Alon is able to influence minds with his voice. It naturally happens when he's singing and this usually brings about....side effects.

Summary: Alon is a character with powers made for mass destruction, he is known to be very contrasting because of the nature of his powers and his personality. During his prime, was seen as the second most powerful demigod in existence, second only to Dino.

The next few chapters will continue at how I left it but I'm going to slow the story down to actually correctly develop on the characters in the book. I've been rushing to the climax and I don't want that.
