Back To The Titanic

Nero's POV

At twelve o'clock the bell rang, announcing that it was time for our break. I decided to head to the rooftop again, I feel so much better when I'm there. It's a place for me to take some air, to think, to breath and honestly just do my best keep up with all this.

I climbed the three floors by going through the stairs and once I opened the door I wished that I had stayed downstairs.

Savanna.

I groaned, "What are you doing here? After taking Ameera's life you decided to come take my breathing space too?"

She laughed bitterly, "When are you gonna stop bringing that up? That happened a long time ago and it didn't concern you. Is it that hard for you to mind your business?"

I clapped, "I bet your mother is feeling real proud of you right now. Even if it doesn't concern me, which it does, you had no excuse to randomly kill her, out of jealousy."

She raised her voice, "I wasn't jealous! Okay?!"

"Then what happened?? Why would you just kill off an innocent being like that? Chrys's fiancé nonetheless."

Something happened. Alon always tried to reason with me on that topic but he never understood that he never needed to, I know that Savanna isn't the kind of person to let emotions take control over her reason. Children of Athena aren't built that way.

She clenched her fists and took a deep breath, "I'm just gonna go downstairs since you hate me so much."

"Good."

She walked out grimly without saying anything more.

I went to railings on roof and stared at the little bodies of water that I could see from here. The water helps me think clearly.

We only have four days before some large war breaks out and we're still not complete. We still have no idea about the whereabouts of Dino and Orion, Alex and I still aren't strong enough to make ourselves helpful.

Chrys's current power level is 417,000. His strength is 96,000, His magic is 200,000 and his spirit is 121,000. The majority of his strength comes from magic and spirit but even if we tried to overpower him with strength we don't have anyone that's much stronger than him. The person with the most physical strength here is Alon but Al only has 97,000 so there's not much of a difference.

The worst part is that according to Reina, he has an ally with a power level over 800,000. He must have gods on his side if he has an ally that's as strong as that.

Other gods! That's it! Only other gods would be strong enough allies to aid in fighting Olympians. The problem is that there is no other god that's capable of fighting on equal footing with the Olympians than the Olympians themselves.

"No not exactly."

I immediately turned around to the voice that said that behind me with bubbles of water around my body if I need to fight but the person standing there was none other than Athena herself.

I made the water disappear and dropped to my knee, "Lady Athene, it's an honour to once again be blessed by your presence." Although my head was currently also facing the floor, I could practically feel her nod approvingly.

"I am glad to notice that living in the human world has not made you act like....a human." I felt a little pride in the fact that Athena just praised me so openly. "You are also as sharp as before, your assumptions up until now were correct. Chrys has gods on his side and they are each capable of fighting all Olympians but he doesn't have any Olympian as an ally. He is being helped by Reina's mother and the Sky Father."

I gasped, "Nyx and Zeus? Why would Zeus help Chrys destroy the world?"

She shook her head, "It would have been much better if father had been the person that Chrys was working with but alas, we are not that lucky. The Sky Father is Ouranos." At the mention of his name my head started spinning and if I wasn't careful I'd end up by spilling my guts in front of Athena, she wouldn't even hesitate to kill me. "Calm down, we haven't even gotten to the worst part. Ouranos is already powerful enough to fight all Olympians at the same time and still have all chances on his side but now he is working with Nyx and even Zeus is scared of her."

This is bad. This is very bad.

"May I stand?" She nodded. I rose to my feet and turned around, choosing to face the direction where the sea breeze was coming from. "Why did you come? You didn't come here all the way from Greece just to give me a rundown of the situation. What do you want me to do?"

She walked to the railing and stopped beside me, also facing the direction I was facing, "You already said it earlier. You need to get much stronger, you and Orion. Alex is going to get stronger, it's only a matter of time for him and you can see that Alon's power level rises by the minute. Yesterday he was at 272,000 but today he is at 286,000. You and Orion on the other hand, you both have immense potential but you've become stagnant and if we wait patiently for you to become stronger then we'll lose."

"I understand but what are you gonna do that'll make us stronger?"

She snapped her fingers and both Savanna and Orion had been teleported to the rooftop behind Athena and I, "Savanna will accompany the both of you to your destination. Her power level is 295,000 so she'll be very useful."

"Our destination?" Orion asked.

Athena turned to face him, "A Quest to be more precise."

"What about the students? We were both in the Dining Hall before you teleported us here," Savanna asked.

"I erased their memory of your existence before teleporting you here, they'll temporarily forget about you until you return." We all nodded. "Icebergs are more dangerous than you thought." And with that she left.

Orion was confused, "What?"

Savanna opened her palm, making her spear appear in it, "It's a clue. Mother does not directly help Demigods when she sends us on Quests."

"Okay but what are we meant to do with that? We all no that icebergs are dangerous. It's an iceberg that made the Titanic sink-"

"The Titanic!" I yelled.

Orion jumped back, "How are you so loud?!"

"Sorry...."

"Anyway," Savanna interrupted, "Nero is right. We're going to where the Titanic sank....it's also where your father hid it right?" I nodded. "Great. Let's start then."

The quest begins huh?

I'm gonna get the story moving while developing the characters a little bit more. It's gonna be hard but I'll do my best to make it good.

What do you think about Savanna? What could her "valid" reasons be? What exactly is stopping Orion from becoming stronger? What did Poseidon hide in the Atlantic Sea?
